I just got this jack in this color. It's amazing! Also the way the instructions have you remove the shipping clip makes it where it doesn't pop. No tools needed.

I have the same thing as your old one, it's 12 years old also. Only two complaints it's heavy and the wheels rusted up. I can't believe it still works, I even bent it a little on a tractor.

A tip for anyone struggling with that clip, if you push down slightly on that piece that moves vertically (where the handle bar goes into.) Youll loosen the tension on that clip and can wiggle it out. Still becareful with it! Great video 🤙🏽

Probably not recommended but i also have this thick wooden block which ill place on top of the jack to get more height if needed

Your only lifting the rear or front end at a time not the entire truck at once, if your lifting the entire truck than get some stands that are over kill for person assurance and set it on them. But yeah these jacks are plenty and one of the best on the market from reviews I’ve read up on.

The clip attached to the jack you have to remove don't put your hands there almost got them bad. You hold the piece and pull the clip of with your hands from the bottom so it doesn't fly forward.

Good video. I see you have Michigan plates -- and I heard mention of Ypsilanti in the video. I no longer live in the area but I grew up in the metro Detroit area and did all my schooling there (Wayne State, etc.). Harbor Freight carries some good jacks for the price, and not just for the price, they are pretty good jacks to begin with. I have an orange 3 ton Harbor Freight jack ("Central Hydraulics" line) that I bought on New Year's Day 2004. It has always worked well, through numerous tire rotations, etc. I've never had to change the jack oil yet either. The jack you got looks good.
