I see how old this video is, but looks great. I have one on my Kia Soul, but my cross bars sit up higher. I didn't like how high the basket sits, so I have the crossbars going through the basket to where the top rack rests on the crossbars. My Kia was not even equipped with any kind of roof rails so I had to install rails, crossbars, and the basket. I also used the black heavy duty zip ties from HF for extra security. Not even noticeable. Mine sits over my sunroof with clearance to open it, but I never open it anyway. It does add some highway noise, but my car has always been loud anyway. Turn up the radio. Lol.

Nice! I just got one and installed it on my kia sorento looks amazing for the price!! Use the little rubber plugs that came with the little hoses for the brackets bolt that are sticking out!! Great video thanks!!

Yea we are debating between the forester, hybrid raw 4 with those fat tires or the new honda ridgline..I really like the honda ridgline cause its versatile and it rides like an SUV, however don't really like the mpg on it. Don't need a truck but it will be nice to have one just in case. I been debating between these 3 vehicles for over 6 months or more and still don't know which one to choose..desicions, decisions.

We have 2 crosstreks. The 2.0 engine is just enough power. The 2.5 engine is a big improvement and we get the same mpg.

You can find china ones for $50 on ebay exactly the same as the OEM crossbars. We have two Crosstreks. One with OEM bars, one with China. Can't tell the difference.

@@faultless18 I get 27mpg with the same setup on a 2.5 crosstrek in LA. Cruise at 70mpg highway, coast up to lights and try to time the green. Makes a big difference not having to come to a full stop.
