I don’t know how you can keep your nails long like that. Way too much grease and grime in this kind of work. I’m def buying this charger
@livefree68785 жыл бұрын
The more we use it the better I like it. It’s big and heavy that’s for sure. When a battery cost $130 it makes sense to make sure that the battery is truly bad before you replace it. The real little battery chargers we’re about $60 if you get it I’d be interested to know if you like it. For me I guess time will tell

I'm going to post a link here about how to rejuvenate an old battery and supposedly bring it back to like new condition. I was going to try it today but the battery charger I borrowed is automatic and won't let me keep it in the 200 amp charge/start mode long enough so I have to get a manual 200 amp charge/start charger and try it. The video does have a link in the description on where to get a charger that will work for this, there's probably others too I'd think, in case you want to try this on a battery that you think is bad.

Umm err dude @ 0:23 you do know that the cardboard box 📦 is lighter than the product. Open from the bottom laying sideways then gently tilt top side up and effortlessly lift ⬆️the 1 lbs. box from the 100 lbs. item. Do it on the lawn so in case parts are dropped they won’t become damaged from impact…….. Just saying😇

My last small portable grew feet and walked away. So, was looking for another. Wanted to give the local HF a chance. $149. HF had a return with nothing wrong with it. Out the door at $89. I had to use my trickle charger to kick start this charger bc my battery was so low. Hopefully, the battery will hold the charge. This charger is very much automatic on the amount of charge to give the battery on any setting. Good deal.

Is it automatic? Does it quit charging once the battery is charged.
@livefree68785 жыл бұрын
Yes, it automatically shuts off, it also does a few other things. If the battery is low it will charge at a different rate to try to recover the battery in a different way. If the charger feels that it cannot recover the battery it will also tells you that the battery is bad. There’s definitely a microprocessor to attempt to make decisions.

Couldnyounuse this as a power supply? As in to power a radio?
@livefree68784 жыл бұрын
Interesting question, it’s got a really big transformer and variable amps and volts. 6 V and 12 V and the amps vary from 2 A to40 A. I’m really not sure,
@dubmob1512 жыл бұрын
I'd suspect it's probably not regulated adequately to use as a high current power supply for a radio, so it'd fry your radio with some high voltage instead of delivering 200A at 13.8V

Desulfate that bad battery with the 200A green button. 5 min on 10 min off. 3 times. It could fix that old battery. Its what worked for me. It was common practice. But battery companies do not want you to know. I am dead serious.

Good video, well edited and narrated. I need a new charger to replace the three I have that don't work right. But, reading the instructions from the internet, I see that this charger is only good for flooded lead acid batteries only, so it won't work for me.
@honestbrother94275 жыл бұрын
Hi, quick question. Please how fast does it take to charge batteries to full charge? Is it as fast as the ones that Advance Auto Parts uses? Bcuz Advance Auto Parts charger takes 30 minutes or less to charge most batteries from almost dead to Full charge, thanks.
@livefree68785 жыл бұрын
There’s three settings, two amp 10 amp and 40 amp. The 40 amp is the fast charge. The Chargers I’ve had before only had 10 amp as the maximum. Since I’m used to charging at 10 A that’s all I’ve done so far because I’ve never been in a hurry yet so I have not tried the 40 amp fast charge yet. The 10 AM usually takes overnight. Next time I need to charge a battery I think I’m gonna go and try the 40 amp to see how fast it is. Sorry but that’s the best answer I have so far.
@honestbrother94275 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for your quick response, it's GREATLY appreciated. I'll assume that the 40 amp will be way faster.
@enzodunn25774 жыл бұрын
I dont think it works. The book says 35 hours for my battery on a 2 amp charge and i plugged it in. Hooked it up. And it has been saying Recon for 30 hours now. And when i test the battery it still says 9.6 volts and its only a year old.
