Wow. A bend test with a 125 amp flux welder? Unbelievable. Thanks a million. If the 125 can do that, then the 140 I plan on purchasing for my small business will be devastating. I need that particular one for aluminum. Thanks again. Didn't think that was possible with fluxcore at 125 Amps. 27 years of production welding and never realized that. Keep it coming.

I bought one for the weight and strap so I didn’t have to drag my esab rebel up a steep hillside or fence work. It performed really well on a long extension and I welded the 18 gauge cheap pre fab fence like a dream. Now I use it on a lot of my mobile fab/repair stuff it is really handy. Not often do I need more than it can do. Nice video.

Similar story here. My neighbor is a "master welder". and claims he used my HF Titanium Flux 125 before, and swears to high heaven that it's not good for anything thicker than sheet metal of a car (which it actually blows through on the lowest setting). I've been welding rebar, repairing engine block cracks, fixing apartment staircases, and have even patched rusty trailers with this little fella. And I've yet to have a customer call me up to tell me it broke. I'm not gonna claim that it's the perfect tool for every job. But I never blame the tool for the quality of my work.

@@26feironworks79 I was 6G AWS certified 15 yrs ago for stainless steel Tig. Don't do much welding now a days but I have a gate to build and a tow hitch to make fit my truck so I picked up the 125 for $80 on Facebook yesterday. It's new in the box. Wasn't too hopeful as I used a Miller briefcase welder back then and unless you had 1/16 rods and we're right next to a breaker panel it didn't work. And it was a $1200 machine. I welded with a 1950s Miller 225 MMA with argon and a Tig attachment so I can make it work but the 110 machines back then we're just garbage. I'm glad things have improved.

That is also typically a dedicated 20A circuit, as indicated by that single receptacle in the middle of the wall outlet . The other key element is a BEEFY extension cord. @@26feironworks79 i hate to sound negative but it's very typical with chinese product. they don't design anything, just rip off the tech and make something that "looks" right at a cheap price, with no thought towards ergonomics or actual use.

@@halleffect1 hey man your comment really got me thinking after our conversation I went out to my shop and I disassembled the trigger assembly and I found out that there is a thick brass tube that the liner goes into and it's easy to bend it and put it back together thank you again for your comment much appreciated be blessed

@@26feironworks79 that's awesome. I took mine apart a few days ago but got a little scared seeing the wires go into the machine electronics. I was hoping to attach the handle from my old Lincoln MIG, but instead I'll try bending the brass tube as you suggest. thanks a lot for the info.

@26feironworks792 жыл бұрын
Great question what type of work are you going to be doing with it? If you're going to be doing work where you're just doing a single pass I would recommend the Lincoln in rNR211 030 or if you're going to be doing multi pass welding I would use the Lincoln NR212 030 I hope this helps thanks for the view and the comment
