In this video we look at the Top Ten Hand Tools from Harbor Freight. I picked these tools based on Usability, Affordability, and Being tools that most people will find useful. If you have other tools you want to add to this list please comment below. If you point out a bunch of tools that you like then I'll make another list video to cover the ones you mention. If you have an idea for a different list video let me know and I'll be happy to make it for you.

I know what this particular video is about I'm just making a comment that would help Harbor Freight Tools make more money and making full sets of tools would make the customers more happy because people don't want a partial set of tools they want a full set of wrenches a full set of socket not a partial set of tools so if you would like it's fine with me if you would want to make a video about suggested to Harbor Freight Tools to make full sets of tools Harbor Freight would make a lot more money if they would make full set of tools and be able to buy the individual sockets and wrenches also that way if you lose a socket you can go by the individual socket at Harbor Freight they could make a fortune off of hand tools they would just listen to me

I needed a 3/4 deep well socket for a half inch ratchet for a project I was working on. I got the impact rated Pittsburgh one fo cheap. Great value, great buy. 0 issues with it.

I had gotten the 4 piece prybar set a few years ago, still alive and in great shape despite all the use (and abuse).

Those universal joints (wobble adapters) are junk. At least the set I had was junk. Hopefully they redesigned them in the last 3 years. Mine came apart where that spring is on the outside. I was in a tight area and knocked that spring off, once the spring was gone, it fell completely apart. Every other HF tool on this list that I own, I have had good luck with though. 👍

Man I wish those weren’t your # 1 pick for screwdrivers...I’ve replaced the Philips twice n the flat about seven times now in under a year n half. With only 32 oz hammer the top just just snaps I wish they were full tang. I’ll keep watching...
@ModernDIYProjects4 жыл бұрын
But mine are full tang. Are you telling me they are making them cheaper quality now? I've had these for a few years so they could have changed.

Can't remember using SAE. Cars and assembly products all metric now.
@ModernDIYProjects4 жыл бұрын
The operative word is NOW. If you have cars or machinery from 1990's on back, then you will be using SAE tools. I started wrenching back in the 70's so I have an entire set of SAE tools that got heavily used back then. In the mid 80's I had to add on the Metric stuff.
@kentbarger69744 жыл бұрын
Back in the day American cars are all SAE I remember it well then the metric came out so you had to buy twice as many tools all the manufacturer started going to metric so all of us old-time mechanics had to buy a lot more tools cuz everything went to metric I remember back in the day when they didn't have metric all the old mechanics had SAE tools only I'm retired auto mechanic specialized in transmission and Powertrain modifying carburetors for performance and gas mileage rebuilding Motors I used to rebuild motors I really liked it because you didn't have to get up underneath the car to take him out the people brought the motors in and you put them up on a stand and rebuilt motors didn't have to get up underneath a vehicle just rebuild the motors that was great

Their hand tools hold up pretty good only have one problem Harbor Freight Tools needs to make a full set of hand tools I rather go to Northern Tools where I can get a complete set of hand tools if Harbor Freight made complete set I would buy the Harbor Freight Tools the icon tools are too expensive their overpriced I wish Harbor Freight would make complete sets of their hand tools or at least sell the individual sockets and wrenches another hand tools that would really help I have left many messages with Harbor Freight Tools bout if they would sell full set of tools like full set of sockets full sets of wrenches Harbor Freight would make a killing on selling hand tools I hope that Harbor face he's my message I bought a lot of Harbor Freight Tools and they've held up really good I've only maybe had about two wrenches break only so that's pretty good
