Hard Crash + Fire - Formula Renault - Circuit Zandvoort

A hard crash happened for the Filip Declercq in his formula Renault 2.0 car on the second day of the DNRT Super Race Weekend. Afer his car flipped over in the Scheivlak corner, it caugth fire while still upside down. He was trapped in his car while it was buring for about 2 minutes. After which the fire was put out.
In the mean time the Westfield cup drivers decided it was a good idea to ignore the double waved yellow and just continue racing.
Filip Declercq suffered some serious burns but is currently in stable condition luckily. I wish him a speedy recovery and hope that he can race again soon.
