This video- degreasing solution is made of (1 Qt water, 1/2 cup white vinegar, 2 Tbl salt). This video covers degreasing plate, rolling on a hard ground and smoking a plate. The smoking device is made up of thin church tapers that you can bind and twist together in a bunch under a tray of warm to hot water (to soften and stick the wax).
