Now this is a weird one.
Hard Head is a strange platformer, starring a dungaree-wearing character with block-headed cranium and protruding forehead; not the most endearing design for the central character in a video game.
The game design is clearly inspired by Super Mario Bros., but this lacks any of Nintendo's charm polish. The controls are stiff and the jumping imprecise, neither of which are desirable in a game which is heavily focused on such things.
What's even more surprising is Hard Head received a sequel...

My childhood. I used to finish these game and other in game-cafes here in Morocco when I wad 12-13 years old and remember how many will stand there surrounding the arcade cabinet and watching and cheering me up. Nostalgia!

Wow, does this game give me uncanny valley/body horror vibes. Also, if he can literally whack blocks with his head, as the game's title tells us, why does he need a hammer to break anything?! Shouldn't he just be able to headbutt the walls as well?

This has something to do with Krillin from Dragonball Z. Note the uncanny appearance and the Dragonballs you ride on throughout the game.

At 31:19 the score overflows and resets back to 0. They apparently never thought anyone would get over 1000000 points. Even on the hi-score screen it's using the lower, overflow score.

Another obscure platformer that I've never heard of. It has the basic fundamentals of the Super Mario bros. Looks kinda fun might give this a try one day.

Gotta admit, I was expecting this to be far worse than it was. Almost feels like a TG-16 game. “This is an obscure 2D side-scrolling platform game that was developed and produced by SunA Electronics of an unknown team of game designers/programmers, and internationally released only for the arcades from South Korea to arcades worldwide during the 1988 Summer Olympics.”

The whole game is like some sort of a mental disability PSA. How the characters look, their objectives, enemies, those poor bosses, it's like a cruel ball of human misery.

The english in this game is terrible! SunA couldn't even spell "BONUS" right after you collect a heart yet they spelled "BONUS" after beating a level
