Just seeing this now but awesome video! It’s funny how you say that the wheels line exactly with the lettering. That’s how I came up with the size 1.8 and know everyone else who makes these just straight up copied lol. So glad chad (hardpark) helped and made the barrels and then started selling them. Had no idea they would get this big

Having bought all 3 major brands of "outlaw" wheels (HP, Akers, Mofo) and designed my own, I can say that they're all worthwhile investments in the performance of a dedicated rig - but if you're not going to use them on a dedicated, all-out crazy kind of build, your money may be better spent elsewhere. It's a big investment for incremental improvements in overall performance, something that really is only noticeable when your rig is already well tuned and set up properly. If you just throw these on a stock (or mostly stock) rig, you're going to have a bad time!

They also seem pointless if you don’t plan on running something like the Low Blow knuckles, and weight hangers. I haven’t completely dived in because the whole setup is quite an investment. I did grab a set of HP barrels while they were in stock though.

Get your weight hangers from shapeways if hp are sold out👍🤠👍my vdub dementor is running the original 3d printed 1.8 wheel barrels. Super light with low blows all round. 4ws a must. Loaded hangers. More weight below the axle than above. Lightest brushless motor available the nano beast. Total weight 235grams 👍🤠👍another cool vid Ken....I need my own channel😔

Seems like a good option. I Donno if 4ws is a MUST. The outer diameter of the tire is still the same. So it’s actually not like it’s affecting steering. But yah, 4ws is a help.

you simply need to choose a face design, then a set of barrels, a hub (choose how much offset you want) and then your hardware. It's pretty simple. each item comes with a set of 4.

Those things are off the hook sick however when I go to the Web site it says they sell all the parts separately now and it adds up to over like $100 for all that parts am I doing it wrong I think I'm adding too many parts but I do know the centers are 50 and the ring are like 18 the you need hub 10 that's close to 80 and it's 10 bucks every little part is + $10 but I mean they are sweet I guess I've already spent welll over a grand on my tiny monster so for something that looks this cool and has a purpose what am I complaining about. These are the coolest rims on the 1/24 scale I've seen! I'm just not sure if they fit my rock hopper buggy look so I'll have to put them on my jeep
