Sister Hilton , I am surly greatful for your efforts in teaching . I love hearing church history. You know , I know absolutely that Brigham Young was the man to lead the restored church. I know so because I used the same approach as when I accepted the Book Of Mormon. I prayed in with my a be sincere heart asking God.

Thank you dear sister Wilson for these enlightening lessons. It is a miracle from God that the Restoration of the Church survived. I know that this Gospel is true. I am 83 years of age and a former Baptist minister and the Holy Spirit lead me to read the Book of Mormon and my father also a Baptist minister and pastor for 15 years read the Book of Mormon after my pestering and gained a testimony that it is True. 51 years ago 14 members of our family joined this Church. My dad was later a Bishop and when retired he and my mother served a 2 years full time mission to Bath New York. From 1970 till now, 51 years later I am still the Ward Organist. I died once and was out of my body. I could see my body but I was no longer attached to it. I could move through the air at will and was moving upward to a bright light and was praising God, I was going home. I was surprised that I was still me only I had no physical body. I remembered my sweet wife (married at 18 years of age, for now 64 years) and our 3 children. I looked down and was immediately sucked back into my body with a thud. I could not move and could not breathe, I thought I'm bac and need to breathe, my body was tingling all over from lack of oxygen. After the 3rd attempt to breathe I took a deep breath and slowly the tingling left. I marveled at this experience and now see my self as a spirit inhabiting this mortal body. I now see with my spiritual eyes and preparing to return to my Heavenly Father with joy having been redeemed by my Savior Jesus Christ. swe are sealed in 1972 in the Salt Lake Temple, she is my bride forever. Amen

Very well done, I am saddened to see so many being deceived and leaving the church at this critical time, the war in heaven keeps playing out again and again............

Church announced recently only 60% of LDS members are active in the church. Mormons make up 1.7% of the American adult population, ( a proportion that is comparable in size to the U.S. Jewish population). The church is growing in other countries and falling every year in the US. Probably due to higher birth rates overseas.

I am curious if all or some of Joseph Smith's other wives stayed with Emma or went on to Utah with Brigham Young? I have never heard them mentioned as to where they all went. There were, after all, dozens of them as we know. Anybody know?

Joseph Smith Jr named multiple successors. If you read the various church’s reasons for forming churches, it makes sense. You have to listen to their arguments for truth though, you shouldn’t get their history through the lens of someone who isn’t a member of these churches.

As a former baptized, member of the RLDS church, about 1970,, but I went totally inactive by the time they became the COC church, I am glad that I was baptized in 2008 into the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, known by the abbreviation LDS with headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah. God‘s church is growing and the splinter groups membership numbers are not. And the oriole the ass as the video it says, even quick, classifying the book of Mormon as additional scripture. So I don’t know what that means other than they’re not the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

Base Street and Wall Street are in Morrison Illinois, not Fulton. Morrison is just 11 miles east of Fulton.

Hahaha Lewis Bidamon probably had the talent to make Emma laugh and after all the gravity of her recent past I can see why she fell in love.

Hard question #7, why did Smith falsely translate Egyptian funerary texts into the book of Abraham. Secular and mormon scholars concur not a single word was translated correctly. He was caught in a bald faced lie. You've been exposed to truth, you are now responsible for the knowledge you now possess. Cry out to the true Christ of the Bible.

No one has claimed (except for yourself and others like you) Joseph translated the funery text. The LDS have always claimed that Joseph translated the Book of Abraham from the larger scrolls now lost in the Chigago museum fire of 1871.

Also that question would fall under Pearl of Great Price, not D&C. I'm sure she'll cover Abraham next year.
