It's never too late for anything my friend. You just have to surpass that thinking of it being too late for you. If you really want to, you'll go for it. I've been going through the struggle of getting better and I know the frustration because I've let other things get in the way of being able to put more time into my playing. But you can do it. Don't give up! :)

Sure you may not be as brilliant as Neo here but currently the only thing getting in the way of you becoming a guitarist is yourself. Live like you are young and you will be young.
