You can tell really quickly if they're a bot, the shop doesn't open to show the items. Koopa was a cpu right at the start. The instant decisions and pathing in the minigames is a giveaway too lol

There's a few other signs as well -they move faster -they always go on the most direct path to the star, even if they can't afford it, even if there's a better option, and even if it's to their own detriment -they never have records in minigames, while even players who never have played that minigame will still have a default record And the following signs exist but they're not entirely reliable -they always steal from 1st at Boo, even if there's a bigger threat, although some real players are short-sighted enough to do that anyway -they never use stickers, but some players also don't -they never look at the board, but there's turns where real people don't need to

The few easiest ways to figure out if a player is an ai is 1- Their character moves faster on the board. 2- They wait till after every body else selects ready and then click it immediately after. And 3- You can fast forward during their events, (ex. When they use Steamer Train on Western Land)
