An attitude of gratitude is a wonderful thing! My dad taught me to build a church in my heart and go to it every day rather than a church on a hill and go to it only on Sunday. My prayer is a thank you as well in addition to the Serenity Prayer. I am 72 and my moto has become....Stay strong, stay healthy and BE HAPPY! I love your attitude and it helps me to watch your videos.

We live on a beautiful tiny blue ball in a huge universe and that's all we have, we should all the thankful for that and look after it. I wish there were more like yourself who give thanks and prey for a safe day for everyone. The world would be a lot better place if we all spared a little time each day to appreciate how lucky and blessed we are. And now here we are rolling into work on the ballast car, and what a great way to begin our day in the lovely green scenery dropping some stone ready for our next job of tamping the track. The machine with its powerful hydraulics makes easy work of packing the ties and very satisfying to see in operation, all done its time to head off home again, knowing the job has been done well and safely, and everyone at the company is going to be happy with your work. Have a very happy Christmas all.

Thank you for this video! Hard tamping where it's needed and a ride on the ballast car. we got one little 22 mile sub that we lease out but still maintain to the potash mines, always when the tech truck comes its always lifting, ballast issues. Glad where you are able to get a tamper machine, we dont get a chase tamper or even a mark iv so its always hand tamp(band aid fix) up the joints when a tech truck has to get rid of urgent defects. CPKC likes to brag they get 100m a year from the track but never see them tamper machines lol. Cant complain of the people who lease it from us, their engines all have cellphones so its much easier to get ahold of them and they dont mind waiting a bit for us to fix stuff and so makes things much smoother.

BN and CP rail (within a dozen miles of me) would have you job if they ever knew you were videoing or only hanging on with one hand and another on a camera or any other ton of things they would find wrong with the workers actions at work. You can't be careful enough to keep you job with those companies. God forbid someone use their cell phone light a cig in the engine while sitting and waiting. The conductor AND THE engineer will take a forced vacation if they get caught doing that. Those tamping machines look AWESOME! God bless! Merry Christmas!

Dave, I think it is perfectly acceptable to infuse spirituality into your videos. You are a spiritual person so it flows naturally from who you are. To be true to yourself you must share how you live your life. Now for the questions, is there a dedicated loco fornthe rock car? Do they run coal trains at night?

Thank you for your witness. Remember, what I have told others, the stronger you are with God, the stronger saten will try to bring you down and make an example of you in front of others. Saten did that to me. So now I wake up with prayer and with an attitude. Monday, I wake up, I'm marvelous, Tuesday, I'm terrific, Wednesday, I'm wonderful, Thursday, I'm tremendous, Friday, is the only day men and women are different. I'm fantastic and women are fabulous. Saturday, I'm spectacular and it is always Super Sunday. Sometimes you fall down, sometimes you get pushed down, but how you pick yourself up defines you. God bless you and your family.
