Kriega is top shelf stuff, can NEVER go wrong with it. I feel like Mosko has a bit of a leg up on them due to their quick release system, but it's hard to go wrong with Kriega, Mosko or Giant Loop. All great stuff.

Kriega kit is amazing. Got a few of their bags. I have an R30 back pack which is still going strong after 60,000+ miles. For road riding hard luggage is usually better unless your away for a night or two.

OC: Over a decade commuting with my Kriega US-20 tail bag. Retired it and now I'm commuting with their R22 backpack and enjoying it as well.

I decided to go with the hard expedition panniers from triumph. But I’m a firm believer you need a good set of both hard and soft luggage systems. So i also have some soft luggage as well.

OC I have hard cases but this is def something to consider when I wanna take my bike off-roading this fall

Forgot to mention…. Hard cases get crushed and damaged permanently after a crash, aluminum and ABS plastic don’t absorb impacts well… while rigid textile shrugs them off.

I've already have a Kriega 70 Combo and R30 Backpack(which I have for about 2yrs)! I'm also planning on getting the OS Drybags and Platforms to add to my bike!

OC. I'm a hard box fan all the time. Every time I fall, the hard box hits the ground before my leg and helps me not pin my leg underneath. I do appreciate a nice dry bag strapped across the back seat though. It makes for a wonderful backrest sometimes.

OC, I have had the Keisha R25 for 7 years. Wear and tear? Still like new. Just dirty. Lol Mosko Moto Reckless 40 on my dual sport. Many, many crashed and dumps. Flawless.

If you do a backpack review please help us commuters out by pointing out what bags fit a laptop and what don't. I have been shopping for a new backpack for over a year now and the size of laptop that will fit a given bag is often not mentioned in the packaging and online. Laptops vary in size by screen size but are otherwise pretty standard, you would think the manufacturer would label them "fits a 15 inch laptop", etc. but it never works out that way. Great video BTW, nice to see something other than the standard review!

Soft Bags 100% I can wham so much in my bags and being soft they can squeeze and form to fit whatever I need. I fit a 5.5L Sunbeam Slow Cooker in one side the other week with expandability. I regularly do my groceries in them and almost never worry about space.

My kreiga setup was an investment, but I have yet to find a bike they won't adapt to. From my cruser to my dirt bike to my superbike they haven't let me down.

OC: I'm currently debating hard case vs soft bag for my new bike. There are definite good and bad to both. Trial and error might be the best way to see which works best. Also, yes, please review backpacks/hydration bags and your experiences with them. Finally, what made Chase switch from the Velomacchi to the Kriega? I bought the former afterwatching/reading positive reviews and seeing Chase say good things about it.

Does the equipment you're using lock so it can be left on the bike without worries? I am currently using a Givi Monokey V56 and am going to be adding lockable side bags in the next month or 2. My bike is a 2020 Honda NCX-750X manual and am part of the OC club.
