I am really wishing that this type of treatment would have been available for my dad. He was in so much pain from all of the hard physical labor he did his entire life. He died in 2017 and was 90, so his generation didn't get help for pain. He always told us with any illness or injury to, "Just work it out." It was how he was raised. But he was a good dad and an awesome grandpa. If my sister, me, or any grandkid was sick or hurt he would always take care of us. He also took really good care of all of our animals. In fact, I still have my parent's cat who just turned 18. She was 15 when they both died in 2017.

I do landscape construction. We lay interlock, build retaining walls, and plant and cut down large trees. I get three massages per year as part of my maintenance program. This is an absolute necessity for tradesman and women.

I love his sense of humor. The education is as important as the treatment. Trying to work on using my spine in a more balanced way. When I was 36 an ortho surgeon I was seeing said, "I'm sorry you have the spine of an 80 year old." Yikes. I am not sure where that leaves me 16 years later. This back has to last me many more years, God willing! Keep moving forward everyone!
