You must be the first person to have said positive things about Nothing But Blackened Teeth! Your honesty with book reviews is so refreshing and fun haha

My favorite Halloween read was the Dread Nation duology, so fun! I really liked Horrorstör when I read it but yeah, I also had no idea what to expect.

Now I have to read the violent season and suffer the children. You sold me on those two. If you haven’t read The Push by Ashley Audrain, you should… it sounds up your ally. It’s the perfect mix of dark and impactful.

Suffer the Children was so wild, yes you do!!! Ohhh I'll look into that!

I 100% agree with you on Horrorstör! I didn't connect with the characters at all and was just expecting to love it so much more because of the hype! Those disturbing scenes though..... 😱

Have you seen the movie Even Lambs Have Teeth? Your description of The Risk made me think of it. My husband put it on because it was in the horror category on Vudu and we almost turned it off because it seemed like it was going to be all about these girls getting kidnapped and raped and rescued. But then it turned into a revenge movie.

I have added so many things to my tbr from this video. But lemme tell you how past I am right now that I can’t find an audio for The Risk. I’m bitter

I agree with you about Things Have Gotten Worse. It really didn’t work for me. I think it either needed to be longer or in a different format to tell the story it was attempting to tell. It just felt like it escalated way too quickly

Your description for The Ex Hex is so perfect! That's how I thought of it too.

Suffer The Children is a more demented version of Little Shop of Horrors. No?
