Hey Mike. Nice work on the thread milling. It definitely makes life easier.

I need to get a few more sizes of thread mills and practice a lot more before I'd consider it "easier". lol For production, once it's dialed in, it's way nicer to use than a tap. :)

@@bluehandsvideo Hey Mike. Thread Mills are great. But once you start using them, you find yourself wanting to buy more sizes, lol. They have a way of making you hungry for more ?? The only down side is they can get fairly expensive. Especially if you want more sizes.

@@weldmachine yep! At least they do left and right and multiple diameters and thread pitches.....actually makes them cheaper than taps in the long run. :)

@@bluehandsvideo With some thread sizes. You would not even want to be the one cranking the handle, lol. They are very good to have and as you mentioned they can cut directional threads. And of course the advantage of cutting ID and OD threads is a bonus. It,s just the set up time that is a bit of a pain. But if you don,t have the right size tap they can save the day.

@@weldmachine oh ya.....I'd forgotten about internal/external. Been traveling.....hopefully, I'll get some time in the shop this week.
