Apologies for the audio guys. We had the right settings, but it still peaked, so we're going to work on that.
@SillyNolan5 ай бұрын
You think you've peaked? You haven't begun to peak.
@deltalima67035 ай бұрын
Sound is great. Clipping or peaking is fine, what is no good is when you cant hear it on max volume. People watching these are not necessairily in a studio with expensive headphones. More like an iPad or a phone with crap speakers.

But to fix it please tell me the exact mic you guys both used the simple fix here would have been one omni directional mic with a load of foam around maybe even just one of these mics on one of you guy's its due to your proximity to one another and doubling up mics in closed spaces with continued close mic on mic proximity.

I think it’s great to see homemade stuff that isn’t conventional. People forget that there are really no rules when it comes to getting strong, and as a machinist myself love seeing new things or ideas I can make.

Both Joe and Donnie Thompson (his was Ep.2) are smart dudes who have made friends with welders. Both of them have stuff that are just "made up" custom and can't be bought or whatever. Very cool I agree.

People put so many rules into fitness in general, have friends with crazy expensive, DIY home gyms that look like they’ve never worked out a day, yet I’ve gotten my best results by switching to just a few pairs of dumbbells and turning down the intensity a ton. I think people like the purchasing/collecting of gear and clothes as a hobby more than working out itself.

The great use of a small space with so many options. Can anyone tell if more people have adjustable dumbbell only set ups? I find that kinda set up the most fun to train with.

That dumbbell set is NICE, assembling dumbbell sets and kettle ball sets is not easy or cheap.
@mysterioanonymous32065 ай бұрын
Yeah, but most guys only need a few each... One 24kg and one 32kg kettlebell. Then add pairs of dumbbells... 20kg, 28kg, a pair heavier ones if you have to. It's not ideal but you can press and swing/clean either and that way you have a good range with not too much clutter everywhere. I'm still looking for a quality adjustable/loadable dumbbell. That adjustable club would be nice too.

I am 54 and in the last year just learned about Nordic curls. Worked up to being able to do a couple at a time. It is kind of cool hearing a trainer with this kind of pedigree talking about Nordic curls.

What would be the extra specialization of the center mass bells compared to a dumbbell? They seem to me to be a nice alternative that allows a more stable load on your wrist due to the mass being distributed evenly in all directions. Genuinely curious as to what extra specialization those can bring to the table. Very interested piecing together a full set of
