Finally a film you reviewed that I actually saw in the theater. It was directed and written by Paul Schrader who wrote one of my favorite films "Taxi Driver" It has overtones of religious guilt and Scott explains the tenets of his religion, Calvinism which I think Schrader was also. Great idea but the way the mystery was solved seemed really rushed.

The theater? Wow. That's pretty cool actually. I find this movie good - just tough to watch though.

So weird seeing Gen Patton in a sleazy late 70s crime thriller. George C Scott certainly was in a variety of varying quality of films, but I’ve never seen this one and it def looks cool. Most of the sleazy 70’s flicks I see, don’t have the caliber of actors like Scott and Boyle. Very cool man

Definitely check this one out. It's a dirty, grimy view, and a tough film to watch. But it's a good one!

I remember when the movie came out. Seen it when it was first released and that was the last time I've seen it since just now.
