Facial expressions, singing live and the fact she plays her sax...nothing in 2024 can compare to her talent.

Yes it was the 80s NOT the gen Z loser no talent generation we suffer now

One of the areas bands frequently disappoint onstage is the vocal harmonies. Either it's one person doing all the vocals on the records (e.g. Boston), or there's otherwise so much overdubbing and/or a general ability to "pull it off" live, you think "Man, those harmonies suck!". That doesn't appear to have been a problem with Quarterflash. I've watched a bunch of videos of them on KZbin, and on all the vocal harmonies are perfect. Also, and you don't hear it on this song, but it seems Rindy Ross and Jack Charles liked to improvise their solos during at least one song, Find Another Fool, when they did it live.

Most underrated band of the 80's. They are just as perfect live as The Cars, and had the hits to prove it. I'm thankful I'm just old enough to have heard them before that era disappeared.

I think Martha would get a chuckle knowing that I used to think she was singing " Only the Lonely Get Laid..." 😂 My apologies though because Martha's incredible range and voice is one of the 80s most under rated! I forget exactly when I first started hearing this song, but i think it was around July of 2014 or so. My grandfather's friend and I would often go up to the drive in movie theaters Saturday nights, mostly because I was still going to school at the time. And when we were going back to my mom's and my mom's now husband's (yes, my parents got divorced) house, we'd often hear this song on the radio, as well as listen to Delilah from 95.5 fm.
