Well the website you pulled the aluminum vs titanium info from is a company that makes camping sporks. I have been in the metal working business for 26 years. 7075 is one step below the best aluminum which is QC-10. The titanium you were comparing the 7075 to is grade 2 titanium which is the 2nd weakest of all titanium grades. There is 10 different grades of titanium. The titanium grade that is mostly used worldwide is grade 5 titanium Ti 6Al-4V and is 3-4 times stronger than 7075 aluminum. It is also highly resistant to corrosion and doesn't need to be T6 anodized to add strength. It is also lighter than 7075 so if the m&p was made out of Ti 6Al-4V it would be far superior but cost more too. So in the end it was an unfair comparison between the 7075 and grade 2 titanium since they are used for a totally different application.

I need your help please: I bought a new one of these, and after several rounds, it started to fail. (It fires 2 to 3 rounds and the bullet gets stuck in the chamber) It's frustrating to have such an EXPENSIVE gun, and it doesn't work like the others. At first a little dirt fell on it, but I cleaned and lubricated it and it still has the same failure. (S&W9 2.0 Metal Version) What could it be?

Optics plates just kill it....and I'm a big fan of S&W and the third gens. I have like 6 or 7 3rd gen S&Ws. Also, REALLY wish they would do metal frame for their 10mm, but it will never happen.

Why are you comparing T6 AL to grad 2 Ti? Apples to apples it is trash. Not saying 7075-T6 or T651 is junk but it is no Ti. If you compare T-3 to Grade2 it would be the other way. If you compare T-6/651 to inconell it would be blown out of the water.
