British man Russ Cook is close to finishing a gruelling challenge to run the entire length of Africa.
Russ Cook, who calls himself "Hardest Geezer" on social media, was robbed at gunpoint during his challenge, which has seen him run from the tip of South Africa to Tunisia, clocking up more than 16,000km over 350 days.
His mobile phone and passport was stolen in Angola when he faced an armed robber, and the trip's taken 4 months longer than planned.

@@unnamedpodcast_thetruth Sandblast, a charity based around helping the displaced Saharawi people, who were made to flee their home by the Moroccans. And also The Running Charity, who help young people that are struggling either with homelessness or other issues be able to help themselves essentially through different means such as therapy or coaching.

Didnt get attacked by a lion,hyena , rhino,elephant etc running the whole entire lenght of africa, very hard to believe to be honest. Hopefully he has a record of every step he ran ,i mean if someone was to do this mission the first thing would to have a full complete record to wqtch back for one aelf in later years alongside the show presented to us by the brit and his crew. Not hard to buy really discreet cameras these days that are practically unnoticeable in case of robbery. The whole thing smells off to me and before anyone says who cares what i think or no one cares what i think, your wrong i care what i think!! Alot of this had film work written all over it in cases, sensationalism but hey the brots ono how to do this dont ye sky!!

Not sure why you’d try to discredit him without following his journey. Try watching his KZbin videos for a start. Oh yeah, and the fact that all of his mileage is uploaded onto Strava via his gps watch.

Andhe never looks wrecked really at all running more than a marathon a day in Africa the sweat would be dripping off him like a tap but more often than not he comes back to the van like he ran a 10 km jog in a temperate climate not one of the hottest continents in the world.
@johnnoonan4799
@johnnoonan4799 5 ай бұрын
That man did not run the entire length of Africa is the logical conclusion, that man did a bit here and there alright for the camera crew that didn't follow him but just parked up here and there,I mean honestly most of this charade is filmed at the van stop off points and very very little of him actually running. Disgrace really, I just hope this charity money raised is going to be accounted for when all is said and done but we will see..let's hope when he does the rounds on the tv shows ,news shows in England when he goes home there that he is asked these basic questions and pushed on them by an intelligent reporter but my guess is he won't ,why because it's all a racket

I give to charity. Unwanted items around the house I bring to local charity shops, relating to both people, animals and the environment. I donate £20 a month to the Royal Society for Prevention Cruelty to Animals. When I buy stamps at the post office I always say they can keep the change and that change goes to charity. But I don't phone the newspapers about it and tell a camera crew to start running the cameras because I'm buying stamps. Highly publicized charity that's uploaded to every corner of the internet isn't really charity at all, it's all done for someone's ego.
