I did this hike just over a month ago!! It was so difficult but it is truly stunning up at the top! The humidity in Thailand really doesn’t help either 😂 your shirt essentially becomes soaked!! Truly a great experience and it feels so good when you reach the top ⛰
@ChaseforAdventure5 жыл бұрын
Oh that’s awesome! Good on you lol Right?! But the views are totally worth it. Yea no, it’s literally as if you took a shower in your cloths by the time you get to the top 🤙🏽 I’m glad you got to do the hike friend! 😁
@brothersman5243 жыл бұрын
I have to agree - it was the hardest hike that I have encountered going up 1237 steps with the heat, humidity and aggressive monkeys - it was a bloody killer lol I remembered climbing almost 700 steps at Seven Wells waterfalls in Langkawi (Malaysia) as well which I have encountered the same issues of heat, humidity and very bad monkeys. Honestly these places seriously test your stamina. The most funniest thing is that I get tired climbing 40 steps at work but sometimes when you are on vacation in another country, you do get an adrenalin rush climbing up so many steps because you are so keen to do it no matter how much it kills you - it is like mission accomplished

I remember making this hike last April. You guys did NOT exaggerate! I had half a mind to go back down on the halfway mark. I think people should have some trekking experience before this. Or at least need to be in good shape. But the view on the top is worth it! The most beautiful thing is the ocean away in the distance.

My husband and I were just there a week and a half ago, I definitely underestimated how high and scary this hike would be. I did come prepared with water etc, but I am scared of heights and sadly I only made it to 400 something steps before my entire body was shaking and vertigo kicked in. It wasn’t even the exhaustion that stopped me but a ridiculous irrational fear of falling. So my husband had to FaceTime me from the top and I scooted slowly back down on my bottom. If you are a chicken of heights like me and being on the side of a steep cliff scares you this hike is not for you and I wish I had been warned lol. 😢so sad I missed out on the views. But thanks to you guys and I can still enjoy them from your video! Thanks for being braver than me.

Haha! I really wanna go there but still its a 50/50 for now. What do you think?

That’s awesome and lol I promise it was worth it! I think our problem was that we went into it thinking it was going to be a “quicker” hike and underprepared a lot....ooooor we were just that out of shape 😂 You’ll be sore but so worth it! Let it be like 90/10. 90 you go and 10 you don’t lol How about this! Do the hike and then go to Railay Beach and just sit on the beach for a couple days and recover in paradise! 🏝 🍹

Is it safe to climb during rainy season. I am in Krabi right now and was planning to cover this place for my channel. A reply from you will be highly appreciated. Thanks. BTW I love your videos. 😊
@ChaseforAdventure5 жыл бұрын
Do it!!! So from my experience, rainy season is simply unpredictable but if it’s a bright, clear sky, sunny day I think you would be fine. What we do is just keep an eye on the clouds and if we see a big dark one coming our way we plan accordingly. 😁 I think you would be fine as long as you chose a good clear day to go ☺️
@TravelWithRobin5 жыл бұрын
@@ChaseforAdventure thanks for the reply guys. Today it was a clear sunny morning and we went for 4 island tour and then just after 1 island there was heavy rain and winds. The weather completely changed. Weather in krabi is Totally unpredictable man. Anyways thanks for the reply. Love you guys. 👍

Dear Chase for Adventure people, please don't wear high top sneakers or mid top sneakers ever (with exceptions made for chuck taylor-converse high top sneakers as those are the only types of high top sneakers you can wear if you agree to this request). I am serious, high top sneakers and mid top sneakers are ugly, they destroy your feet and nobody wears them .PLEASE agree to this request,i will pay you money if you agree to this request. No place on Earth requires people to wear high top sneakers or mid top sneakers

lol not even CLOSE to toughest hike on Krabi lol. Even a average running kind of type does this with ease in less then 60 minutes haha. Typical American tourist who think they seen it all lololol. Just a 1200 steps stairs and calling it the most difficult hike of Krabi provence hahahah. I know a girl who runs up and down every day for training. There are tons of locals doing that by the way. This is not seen as a difficult hike here. Its just a long, very long stairs. We have super tough hikes here. Do some research and find then. This is not even a hike. We will talk again.
