Also I just realized Runick Dispelling is a direct reference to Haar's discard effect. Nordic tradition has it that the Allfather drank from a similar water source to gain the wisdom he probably needed to master the use of Runes, so it's not a coincidence considering Runick is confirmed to be directly related to Generaiders by the prescence of one of their monsters in their card art (Loptyr? I forget the exact name).

The Generaiders are the bosses of the RPG game that's depicted in the Runick cards with the spells being the spells you'd cast in the game and Runick Fountain being your mana regeneration fountain (which is why its effect is to recycle them into the deck and draw). The fusions you summon from the extra deck are supposed to be your familiars/allies to help you fight the bosses.

I'm amazed how competent Generaiders are, having 10 lv9 monsters in the deck and most of them being garnets and still getting that far is impressive. It also helps that a lot of people are coping with Kashtira in their first wave of support and that deck is awful without the emergency teleport, the field spell and the boss monster.

2:42:40 - Why not run a Hela? It also fits with Small World because it's a Zombie, like Ash, it has 2800 DEF, which could search Sauravis if you wanted it to, and it's also a solid Generaider name that does some pretty nifty stuff for the deck. For the current MD meta I also think that Book of Moon/Eclipse would be really good because Purrely exists and is probably the best deck, and they completely neutralize Purrely going second, work vs other decks well going 1st and going 2nd (like the ever-present Mikankos).

1:00:56 I kind of hate how Desperado is in the Legacy Packs. I just want to build a fun Gimmick Puppet deck and have some fun with it even though it's absolute garbage, but there are SO MANY of the cards I need, that are only in the Legacy Pack. Meaning to get the cards I want to grind through the lower tiers, I need to play the game... and grind through the lower tiers to get the tickets to open the Legacy Packs. Honestly Gimmick puppets in general are stupidly expensive, nearly every card in that archetype worth playing is a UR, plus the Rank-Up Magic's that are worth playing are URs, then you need the Master Duel tax... Yeah It's likely one of the most expensive casual/flawed decks in Master Duel, made worse by having key cards locked behind the Legacy Packs.

Generaiders' approach to splashability is something that I've always found really cool. Having the majority of the main deck monsters function as a variety of generic type support ontop of their archetypal functions allows for some really interesting synergy with plant, fairy and spellcaster archetypes, like Predaplants, Sunseeds, Heralds, Prediction Princesses and even the new Majespecter support, which works incredibly well to both insulate the deck from removal and grab their field spell more efficiently. The deck also has a lot of synergy with easily summonable level 9s thanks to Monstrosity, so decks like Rescue-Ace, Invoked, True Kings and the new Runick Fusion can work very well for getting accessible xyz material and can even function as combo starters if they happen to not be Light attribute. Finally, the decks focus on drawing your opponent's cards can create niche synergies with hand control decks like Trickstar, where your opponent is pretty much never allowed to search anything. The best part about Generaider synergy is that any deck with a tribute or reciprocal draw effect has potential synergy with the deck, you just need the right typed Generaider for that synergy to work. Survival's End is a crazy good trap for a deck that summons a bunch of tokens, you just need a Dinosaur to bridge the gap. Similarly, Dark World Dealings is the most available reciprocal draw option available and would a guaranteed staple in the deck if we had a Fiend to go along with it. Heck, we just got a new Link 4 Infernoid card that would also work great summoned off of a Fiend Generaider

generaider was one of the first deck i knew nothing much about and had a blast playing and coming up with combos. Some of the stuff i came up with includes: - using diviner of the herald to send trias, summon trias by tributing diviner, diviner summons valkyrie sechste, which summons sigrun (another lvl9). From here i could either go to a rank 9 (infinitracker earth slicer for destroying removal, hyperiton for negate if i feel like there's a nibiru waiting to activate or leyvateinn for next turn) or i could use sechts and sigrunn for synchro into chaos angel (this guy saved me from a baronne + thunder dragon colossus by himself, only because my opponent didn't negated sechste) - e-tele or one for one into psychic reflector, add assault beast, discard him to get assault mode activate, use reflector second effect and bring beast as a lvl8 to synchro into archossauros (lvl9 plus 1 draw). Since achossausros is a lvl9 water monster, he can be targeted by world legacy monstrosity to bring both mardel and harr, to get a search and to have a negate ready in any case of ash or impermeance - (i think i still have the replay for this one because i thought it was funny how annoying i was) after resolving boss stage, bring loptr and use him to summon harr, i used both harr's effects against a cyber dragon player, but when it came to the negate, i tributed a token and harr himself, so i could keep 2 generaider tokens. The reason for that is that i used hop ear squadron (lvl2) to synchro with the token (lvl4) into desert locust, which has two effects, one that forces the owner of the turn to discard a card and one for a quick synchro, which i used on the second token. In the resolution i summoned baronne and forced my opponent into discard his second to last card in hand and got a omni negate to whatever he tried to play - if i ever got into a situation that, in the late, i have no generaider card in hand to activate vala effect, i use nine lives cat to bring her back, which also triggers her reviving effect, which gets me 2 lvl9 for another rank 9, so as long that it isn't dyson sphere, i could use both nine lives cat and this new rank 9 to go into utopic future, and then utopic draco future - condenmed witch can, on summon, get you a "forbidden" quick play spell (droplet or chalice for monster negate) and can tag into loptr if you already have the field spell on board, so you can focus in bringing harr or utgarda for more interactions - as bad as generaider boss room may sound, it did saved me quite a lot. its the continuos trap that can change the effect of a card your opponent used in response to a generaider card effect to "both players draw a card", but only if you discard a card first, but you can use it if your opponent try to chain ash, maxx c, impermeance or called by the grave to either both the field spell's effect, loptr or vala. And because i play a different spell/trap than the field, i have reason to use generaider boss mission (reveal a generaider monster in hand, add up to 2 generaiders spells or traps to your hand) whenever i brick hard with generaiders in hand that are not vala, or that i need on deck so i can bring with the field

Play second, bait or get rid of their one negate, wipe their board, then OTK. Yeah, not the most consistent way go beating them, but they have not much to do if you remove harr and have a way to eliminate all their monsters after boss rush has activated. Unless it is the fairy one, then you just have to pray they cannot outresource you. And don't have a good turn 2 play.
