Hey Professor Bo, just want to chime in on the Pyramid talk. There's an interesting case for the pyramids being built using sound waves and frequencies that would literally lift these boulders and leviate them off the ground. "The idea that sound waves were used to build the pyramids is based on a mysterious papyrus discovered in the Giza cemetery. The papyrus suggests that ancient Egyptians used singing, whistling, and music to move stones and objects during rituals. Some scientists believe that these electrodes could have been used to create high-frequency sound vibrations, and these vibrations can be considered to be responsible for lifting the huge stones." It's a similar theory to how this ONE MAN back in the 1920's built a whole ass castle out of coral down in Florida by himself, his name was Edward Leedskalnin. "Leedskalnin's work is still a mystery to some, who believe he used supernatural abilities or arcane knowledge to build the castle. Some theories include that he levitated the stones, sang to them, or used the Earth's magnetic energy. " I think that guy was on to the knowledge and wisdom that the ancient Egyptians were using. See you next lecture Professor Bo

FDR was technically elected for 4 terms, but died right around the beginning of that 4th term.
@jtkappy7742Ай бұрын
From what i remember FDR is the reason people don’t get a third term. George Washington passed it up so it was just an unwritten law untill after FDR. Another interesting thing is that As a kid FDR had polio, and at some point during his presidency he just started withering away as his wife ran the country. The media did everything they could to make him come across as healthy and all to keep moral high. it was more successful than you’d think because The media did everything they could to not photograph him in his wheel chair and there were not video cameras like there are now. he would just not be in public often.
@brommageАй бұрын
You're confusing FDR and Wilson a bit here here. Yes: FDR had polio as a child, and was in a wheelchair his entire life. And you're also correct that the press tried not to photograph him from the waist down. But he was at Yalta six weeks before his death. Woodrow Wilson is the one who had a stroke and was incapacitated for the last few years of his second term, his wife Edith Wilson running the country during this time. Interestingly, Wilson intended to run for a third term as well, although his medical condition kept him from it. Instead, the Democrats nominated Ohio governor James Cox (who would lose in a landslide to fellow Ohioan Warren G. Harding). And Cox' running mate in the 1920 election was none other than Franklin D. Roosevelt (who was the Assistant Secretary of the Navy at the time).
@jtkappy7742Ай бұрын

Pickett's charge was named after the loser (Confederate) general Pickett not the hill. The hill is seminary ridge (seminary ridge road today) It was such a turning point because at that point in the war the Confederates were actually kicking the unions ass and they got so cocky with Pickett's charge that they basically aimlessly shot so much cannon ammunition that they couldn't see anything because of the smoke they created. So when it came time to charge they didn't know what was going on and the union absolutely annihilated the Confederates. Upwards of 15,000 Confederate/loser soldiers were killed in less than an hour. After that they didn't have enough men to continue fighting and they retreated to Virginia where they ultimately surrendered in appomaddox

A fact that I found interesting about WWI (The Great War) is that King George V of the United Kingdom, Wilhelm II of The German Empire, and Nicholas II of The Russian Empire were all first cousins. And that Nicholas II was also cousins with The King and Queen of Norway, as well as the King of Greece. You got something wrong. FDR wasn't elected 3 times, he was elected 4 times, and died during his fourth term. He is the reason why we have term limits now.
