Married 10+ years and My wife is battling depression and has abandoned me for 3 months sleeping in another room and everything. I’m not in a rush for sex but I miss our intimacy. I haven’t watched Porn or cheated but it’s been difficult and what you said just struck like lighting “release her and serve give her what is needed” “Make love to her mind”This is why Titus says Older men teach the younger men”wow 9 months bro Glory to God. Yall...this has me in tears...I am literally going thru a divorce RIGHT now because my husband took INTIMACY Out of our marriage from the beginning...we only been married for 4yrs and I loved my husband...was willing to stay in this sexless marriage..5times a year was tops and was never given a explanation as to why....so after years of no explanation...I decided to give him what he was giving me...I stopped cooking and cleaning.....2 MO later he filed for Divorce...sad that we had to end this way...I pray one day he'll see how we got here...oh we are in are late 50's ...Thank you brothers for this episode

This is one example of why the "you can only divorce if they cheat or hit you" doctrine is false. Because there are many husbands who will never hit you or cheat on you, but they are CRUEL to you. They talk mean to you, LOOK at you with disdain, purposely withhold intimacy from you...
@mariomadyun1798
@mariomadyun1798 Жыл бұрын
That sounds terrible, may God bless you. In the 50's, I thought by now from past relationships you'd have set boundaries, big difference between needs & wants. So quick to divorce after 2 months, there was a reason he was single & I don't know you but it seems you were way to avaliable for him. You wanted him more than he wanted you & the best thing is hopefully you can find that real love & have someone appreciate you.

I'm so sorry your going through this and I can relate but it's been 20 years and going through the D. It sounds like there was immaturity and a lack of communication. If you went through with the divorce I pray for your healing which can only come through complete separation from him. No contact as hard as it is. That's the only way to heal out what you'll keep the wound open. If you didn't divorce I hope you found a good therapist and or coach. God Bless you

Mmm it's funny, cause we still live in a world where a man has to build himself up to get the girl, look appealing be appealing in everyway and once the woman is secured, he maintains to keep up his lady. Yet the woman forgets her monogamous role in saying I'll be everything you need me to be wanting monogamy, yet there are so many excuses given by woman as to why a woman won't fulfill her own part that she asked for in the relationship, now you spawn a generation of unhappy men still faithful to woman, and woman still want more dispite the unhappiness of the man you sitting next to. How much more needs to be given for woman to take accountability and realize it's not always about them, you also have needs to your man that need to be met, it doesn't work one way.

Yes we are all learning. Many young men will end up grateful for a woman willing to be nice to them despite the fact that man can not have sex every day. any longer 🤦🏽‍♀️ . Many of us are in need of a hug and think they need sex. I hope we have not missed the point,you can both want sex,etc 100% the same but everything can change. If we make choosing a loving compassionate person the priority and be the same we are prepared for whatever happens, to respond with compassion and love for ourselves and our partner. I hope 😂

This goes both ways, because as a woman I identify more with the pain of a sexless marriage than I do with the idea of “going through something” and therefore don’t want to have sex. The rejection and pain, loneliness, and insecurity that it gives me really feels unbearable most of the time. I know I’m not the only woman out there that experiences this but damn it hurts to not have a solution or at least to not see what the solution may be smh

OOOOH, I know the pain!! I was so hurt by my ex-husband's treatment of me during our sexless marriage---rejection, gaslighting, ignoring my needs---It was awful! I wanted to cheat, but I COULDN'T; however, he felt ok to talk to and go out with other women and do who knows what else (even with his ED, there are other sexual acts that can take place).

Wonderfully said !!!!! To hear this coming from men is so breathtaking .I believe some men are scared to allow themselves to be vulnerable because they don’t believe its “Manly “ but in reality it’s showing your strengths in ways that’s top tier . Communication is key in a union ship but UNDERSTANDING what is being said is so much more important. When you love someone you will literally do any and everything for that person to make sure they feel safe , comfortable and happy . It’s a two way street we have to make each other feel that way .

This was a fascinating dialogue. I’m 53, married for 29 years. What’s evident to me is that our culture is broken. The baton pass from generation to generation to inform and teach what true relationship and marriage is and how to authentically attain it has been dropped. This platform, watching this conversation, the state of my own marriage and the struggles that I see in my family and among my children confirms this. I hope that what I’m seeing is the beginning of transformation and not a new form of entertainment.

As an MD & coach, there is a rare subpop made of females with a high libido, where the sex issue is 'reversed' if you will. It's not the husband wanting more sex but the wife. It'd be interesting to hear a Pod covering such a rare yet existing population, which yields a whole other level of relationship issues. AND this Pod was excellent!!

PLEASE, PLEASE speak on this. How does a wife, seeking after God, handle the husband who denies his lack of intimacy and desire for sex. Prayer only takes one so far when only one is praying because the other denies. HELP!

As a new subscriber. This is my favorite new channel on KZbin. And can confidently say that it's the best one here. I found it by accident by KZbin automatically playing the video with the lady married at 60 and since then, I've been here everyday just absorbing these nuggets of wisdom. May God keep blessing your channel, since it's blessed many singles and even married people around the world.

Beautiful!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 As a divorced mother of 2 sons, this video (and many of your videos) will be shared with my boys. Like many black households, we do not have any alpha male figures in the family who’s willing to have heart to heart dialogue, such as this. So I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this content. ♥️ For all the single moms of sons without male leadership, this podcast could be your saving grace as a mentor for your young men. Best wishes on your future endeavors. May all of you stay safe, healthy and happy as you continue to enlighten our black community. Thank you all so much!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🥰🥰😘🤗🤗
