It was three days ago that I watched this stunning video and I didn’t want to let it go without writing a most deserved praising comment which I couldn’t write before because I was too busy and also because it takes some time to me to write in English (Spanish is my tongue). The climbing hike goes through a marvellous North American landscape before making it up to that heavenly lake. Once there what I see is similar to some of my actual dreams during my sleep. It really is. That blue water from where you can catch those many gorgeous good sized trout with that incredible amount of red colour…oh man…quite a dream indeed… The solitude of a whole lake for the two of you! Only the sound of the wind, the waves, the birds…what a fishing adventure!…it will create a even stronger wonderful bond between of you guys as brothers. You both will recall in the future how lucky you were for sharing such a marvellous fishing day. One of the best fishing videos that I have ever watched in my life. I mean it. A beauty of a video. Congratulations.

@chiquilín I will tell you what I was told long time ago. “ If you ever try fly fishing you will no go back to traditional casting, sitting, waiting, spinning…” and that was 100% true. Feeling the rod in your hand and seeing when the fish comes to eat the fly it is an unbelievable sensation. If you have the financial means to pay for a guide and some classes you should try it. Wońt regret it.

Great content as always!! I’m fishing a creek here in Wv in the southern part of the state that looks like a creek from out west. It has milfoil and coon tail weeds with some under cut banks, it’s so different than most of the wild trout creeks i fish. Right now the big browns are up this one trib , and I’m talking big, 19”’s that I’ve caught and seeing ones much much bigger, and they are utilizing the weeds as cover while trying to pre spawn. The weeds have the water clarity extremely clear. The bug life is amazing in this creek where there’s weeds. Thanks for the content and I appreciate what you guys are doing!!! Sorry to keep rambling on about this creek but I’m just so excited about it.

This reminds me of a lake I me and a buddy found 30+ yrs ago that was so remote we had to go back a year later to reach it. 2 day hike. No trail. About 11k ft. elev. First day, 1st cast, 1st fish. 20 in of the most gorgeous beautiful crimson, silver and emerald on a rainbow. Later I noodled a fifteener out from under a log we ate for dinner. The river feeding and leaving the lake was no wider than 2-3 ft in most places and I estimated at least 4 or 5 ft deep with seriously deep undercut banks holding monster fish! We were spooking giant bows in just the tiniest of pools just walking by on the game trail. Hell, above the lake in a meadow pool the size of a living room there were around twenty lunkers, their dorsal and tailfins sticking up outta the water...looked like a hatchery. Looking back to where the rivulet feed the intake there were some dozen fish, a couple were 24 inchers. Never saw anything like it and I never will again. No BS. We went back 2 or 3 times later over the years but it had changed...less moisture. The deep feeder had turned to a trickle. We still caught some from the lake but nuthin like that 1st magical trip...

I am glad you got to experience the scenery, the peace and quiet, the fish, the water, etc. Now close your eyes and just think how big and more abundant that all the fish and game were before Columbus wrecked his boat into the America's. Think about how the natives actually lived with the earth instead of being caught up in the plastic world today. My Foster Mother taught me to fish and she could outfish a lot of guys but she also taught me to be kind and be a gentleman and one thing she said put the two together. She said " I like to catch fish but I like to see others catch fish too". I really enjoy and appreciate ya'lls videos. And always tight lines. Tony
