Three months to do something to a 1:18 1962 Maisto Chevrolet Bel Air!
In this video I will show you how to easily lower this car by removing the springs and then a more challenging (but very achievable!) way to drop the car to the ground low rider style!
00:16 - intro
02:00 - removing the suspension
03:30 - rear suspension lowered
04:30 - front suspension lowered
07:00 - easy part lowered...
07:50 - now for the hard part... getting the car really low!
08:00 - the front again - but lower...
11:05 - the rear again... but lower...
13:00 - cutting the rear fender wells out to clear the rear wheels - using a hand saw...
15:55 - my dog interrupts me! lol
20:00 - damn that's low! can I go lower...?
20:46 - removing the mounting rods to get it lower
21:50 - time to get serious now! Getting the front to drop...
24:14 - It's Dremel time!
30:14 - can I get the front wheels back on?
30:58 - the front is waaay lower now!
31:30 - the final reveal!

nice work, beautiful modification, a Dremel tool works quite well doing this type of mod work.

Thanks! The Dremel is good - I got a smaller cheap rotary cutter recently for small jobs too
