The jammin element is what really missing from Megadeth performance these days. I remember back in 1994-2001, they also played extended version of Symphony of destruction and did some jammin before started Train of consequences. During breaks, David, Marty or Nick would do some bass, guitar and drum solo.

Yeah, totally agree with you. Megadeth is my favorite band, but when they come to my country they always play the same setlist, with no extended versions or drum and bass solos.

@@viniciuscandido7133 Yes, I think Dave is lacking stamina these days. They also used to play most of the songs faster than the album version but these days, they'd slow it down a bit instead.

They were playing the og/extended version of *Symphony* (w Dave's solo) up until 2009. I think the RIP Anniversary World Tour just threw things in other direction after that. 🤕

This is awesome. The sound is awesome, the rhythm is awesome, the pacing between solos/riffs is awesome, simply said awesome performance. Even the crowd at Woodstock were no match for this, they were probably there for Limpy Biscuit in the first place. Did I mention that this performance was awesome?

Wow Dave brought it for this show! Rest of the band looked out of sorts. Still Megadeth, so incredible musicianship even on an off night, but you could tell this line-up was on its way out. Just uncharacteristic for such excellent musicians, especially Marty Friedman.

In my humble opinion Megadeth is the greatest band I've had the pleasure of listening to, grew up poor wanted to see them since 88 when my best friend introduced their music to me, now I'm 43 still playing megadeth as loud as my speakers can go and finally had tickets last year Ozzy cancelled Dave battle cancer so I gave up then out of the blue coming to NC hell yeah got tickets again and now with it being election year and the liberals failing at every attempt to ruin our great country they turn their media loose with this covid19 bullshit sorry Dave looks like it just isn't meant for me to hear the metal god and the amazing band Megadeth maybe in another life guys

Dave play the riff(the pillar for the song) and solos flawlessly but Marty can play the riff(flawlessly yet in a funky casual manner since it doesn't really matter for live performances) and his solos are more melodic because. They're both equally equipped and do the best in their own forms, basically because it's their own appropriated roles that keeps the music alive.
