i agree. More so if you want to have it like behind the TV or in a hard to get to but out of the way cabinet. Really for a home theater PC right now i would go with a x86 NAS and Raspberry Pi 2B or 3B controller board with that add-on for power on / power off. More expensive than that add-on would be but the NAS can be upgraded to have more storage. I think 180TB is the current max on most Prosumer NASes until you get into bigger than you should have due to drive fails hard drive sizes. That is enough room for a few 8k full length 4 hour long movies with all the extras too. So i would suggest 1080p so you could have like 200x the amount.

Sounds like someone has very long speaker cables and never uses any thumbdrives. But there are even wired soilutions. Just replace the power buttion with one on a longer cable. They don't need to be thicker than telephone wire. And I'd suggest getting a new case/fans/cooler on the way if the rig is that loud. Tose 90° adapters also help getting the cables to the front quickly, most boards got them straight out, and those angled ones would be nice. Now we only need SATA plugs with rotation in every direction.

Great upload~! The wireless power button might be pretty sweet for a home theater PC. Those dust filters might be a god send for small form factor.

The Silverstone ultra fine mesh is available in all black (FF123B 120mm & FF143B 140mm). I just installed 5 in my rig back in Oct 2018, however mine did not have a reinforced frame like the one featured in the video and felt a bit flimsy, but after several months of use, they are holding up quite well. They do a great job of catching dust so your fans last longer and helps avoid having to tediously clean fan fins, especially in hard to reach areas (e.g. my AIO radiator is positioned so that I would have to take my motherboard out if I wanted to replace the fans). Rinse them gently under warm water and you're good to go. Although I liked the idea of magnetic attachment, most fan frames are plastic so I had to install screws anyhow aside from the PSU grill I replaced (since the PSU is metallic).

Will it be better to just have a dust filter on your front intake? Or even better, a mesh front panel.
@szurheal Жыл бұрын
@@MrGamelover23 I used to have a bottom and side intake on my old case with no exterior mesh so I needed the Silverstone mesh covers on the fans. I just built a new system with the same intakes and noticed most modern cases include exterior mesh so the prev mentioned accessories are likely better suited for older cases, or ones that have mesh with large air holes that allow dust particulate.

The CM right angle 24-pin block is great, used it in my newest build. Looked into the EVGA GPU thing but turns out you have to plug 2 power connectors from the PS into it even if the GPU itself only requires 1 connector.

I like how the wireless remote is the only thing you say we don't need, but most of us really want that. Now, time to see if I can find it in India or a suitable replacement. Sigh.

Where the heck can I buy that super fine dust mesh filter by itself? I've been looking all over the internet for months now and I can't find anything like that.

For the NZXT Internal USB Hub you do not need to use the Molex Power adapter if you're using a Full ATX motherboard. My motherboard only has one USB 2.0 for some stupid reason and I needed the Internal USB Hub to connect all my Corsair iCUE prepherals.

See it just seems like every time he says ITX he should be saying ATX.

the 24 pin addapter is really the only thing I might put into a PC... Maybe the Vertical PCI-E Bracket too... With Case fans on the front it might cool better... but not sure about that... It's pretty neat gimmics but I don't see much reason for them... Esp. if you can filter out the dust on the case itself. And really- who needs a wireless button to turn on the PC? Is your Powerbutton on the backside of the case?

Sata power-splitters. Saved me a few headaches the last couple of builds. Especially when you need another 2 power connections for something like the corsair link RGB thing.

I investigated the wireless start/restart for my computer that runs 24/7 but (very) occasionally freezes. After looking at the options I settled on an Amazon Smart Plug. Now if it freezes you can just say 'Alexa turn off pc' then back on (or set up IFTTT to allow for 'restart'). You can also use the app to start it if you're away but need to access it and critically allows you to just not have it running 24/7 if you don't want to. Set Windows scheduler to shut down at 2 AM and set the plug to turn on at 8 AM by enabling 'power on at power restore' in your BIOS. No fob to have to keep track of, you can use your voice or the app, and you can schedule it. I tried previously to use WoL but found that it was extremely inconsistent.

I don't know if you will ever read or see this but here goes. You were the first channel that I subbed to back when I started playing Yugioh competitively back in 2017/2018. I enjoyed your content immensely and found it really helpful. I even went back to older videos at the time to catch up and watch more content. I honestly probably wouldn't playing this game currently if I hadn't found your channel. I didn't discover other yugitubers until later on so I just want to thank you and helping me grow as a player. I hope you have a happy and wonderful retirement from this channel.

The problem i got with the adapter/relocator/extenders, is it's another link that can fail. This is why i never bothered with looks. I prefer performance, over look or form. I do like the fan filter, so will be checking it out, thank you

Question couldn't you modify the vertical gpu backing to allow for let's say your wireless card or something like drill holes to let the antenna out?
