I have a 2019 Razer Blade 15 Advanced in Mercury White (i7 9750H, RTX 2070M), and have been happy with it for the most part. I have exact same Razer Blade Advanced and his on his 4th battery, I replaced the battery every 1.5 years due to bloat. I replaced thermal paste every time I replace the battery. It runs hot mid 80C for the CPU and low 80C for the GPU. And lastly speaker plastic grill is peeled off, its not metal as latest models which is shame. But it gets the job done I play dota 2 mostly. I'm never buying another razer laptop due to battery bloat and other issues because I think they never listen their customers and they never sell parts, all they ask is send back for repairs which is hard for me because there's no Razer service center in my country, so I have to ship to another country for repairs and which costs a lot on top of their high repair cost.

I heard LPCAMM2 will be mainly for data centres to start with. I expect they will work down to consumers in a few years. But in the interim, we will continue moving more to soldered RAM in ultrabooks, as data says soldered RAM reliability is 99%+. The benefits of soldering easily outweigh the benefits of modular for most of the ultrabook user base. Gaming laptops will hopefully keep to modular although thin and light ones not so much.

I have owned 3 4 razer Laptops over the years and have not experienced too much trouble. The cables held up well. I never understood the amount of hate for the feel of the keyboard tbh but I guess it's subjective. What I have noticed is that the chroma lighting "broke" on 3 of my 4 laptops after like 2-3 years. What I mean is there were some burned out LEDs on some keys. What I do find horrendous though is that we still don't get secondary functions lid up on german keyboard layout. At least in the 14" devices. That makes life unnecessarily harder. I have the 2020 model and would have loved upgradable RAM. Maybe an upgrade is in order when the new GPU series come out. The keyboard looks nice and imo feels okay, The chassis is just like the MBP and feels great and the trackpad feels good too. The main problem for me with the blades are the speakers, battery life, and Windows in general. Apple with the ARM chip and seamless memory management with OS X just makes the Macbook way better in terms to work management, smooth work, no stutters no lag. I constantly get crashes when I have many things open. On windows in general you might actually need 100gb of memory. Not to mention the sleep mode battery, for those who want to close the shell and leave it to sleep for even 1 day let alone a couple the laptop would die. This feature is so great that you can instantly pick back up ur work with the same desktops u left it at, as opposed to windows. In general these issues cover all windows laptops. Dont get me wrong Im not a hater of windows I even have a PC that i use for gaming, but thats about it. Mac is way better for everyday use and longevity sorry fanboys.

Don't get a 14 gaming laptop. I got the Asus 14 3060 2 years ago and it was always insanely hot to where I had to return it. I don't get it. Besides laptops cost more than desktops now.

Trust Razer's build quality or no, but if they send you a lemon, do not trust their Extended Care service. I've had to send my 2021 model Razer Blade 14 in four times for the same grinding faulty left fan. And this latest go around, they have lied, multiple times on the phone, about having approved and sent my pre-paid shipping label.

I love the razer blade look, but would never trust the company after my razer blade motherboard fried like a month past the warranty 2 years ago and Razer refused to do anything for it short of a 2k fix(at that point they’re saying just give us money for a new one). Did nothing but KZbin, very light gaming(old jrpgs), and word for school.

Wait wait wait, I've seen some interesting nit picky takes on power cables, but you're seriously complaining about the 90 degree end being reversible? Because you might plug it in and block the ports....Then REVERSE it. hahahaha. It takes literally 1 second, and also, how daft do you need to be to plug it in that way in the first place? The 90 degree power cable was one of those cherry on top features for me when I got a Blade back in 2015, because you plug it in, and it's out of the way.

$2200 for a 4060 model for an IPS panel. Is this a joke!?

My razer blade 15 died within 1 year of use. DO NOT BUY it’s not worth it trust me. I wasted 2000 bucks to learn this the hard way

Those snakes on the logo. Yuck. Also Asus and the font on their keycaps. It's like they're designing these machines for kids. Come on.

Das Display ist einfach viel zu Dunkel 😪 Ich habe das 14er mit einer 4070 für 1700€ ergattern können, jedoch enttäuscht mich das Display sehr..

If Razer doesn't fix their battery bloat issues, they will lose their customers, customer retention rate will be lower. I have Razer Blade 15 and its on his 4th battery in 5 years, 1 battery per 1.5 years.

In my opinion, you'd be utterly bonkers to buy the Razer 14 2024 over the G14 2024. Way more expensive with a worse keyboard, worse speakers and a worse display. The design looks dated compared to the G14 and the build quality is practically identical. Razer have basically changed the CPU and resold last year's product.

My number one requirement is what is the difficulty in replacing the keyboard. Almost all of my laptop problems have revolved around failed keys. This laptop I'm using has A,D and X keys that don't work. To replace the keyboard involves complete disassembly and "re-welding" to fix. NEVER AGAIN!! If the laptop's keyboard is not easily replaceable, then the manufacturer can keep it. I don't want it!!!

If you want the best performing 14 inch gaming laptop of 2024, get the 2024 Blade 14. But if you want the 2024 Blade 14, you might as well get the 2023 Blade 14 to save money. But if you want the 2023 Blade 14 to get the best performance and save money, you might as well get the 2023 G14. 😂

They keyboard needs an update i suggest to have touch id and for the screen to be touchscreen 4k and make 32gb ram on standard with any edition of 14 laptops. thats just my suggestion then it would be worthy of a 2k or up price tag imo!
