What a gorgeous stock miata. It looks like brand new almost.

Thanks! I had just spent many hours polishing it to it's original glory. The previous owners definitely took great care of it though!

Just curious, but if you had it to do over again would you remove the front seats to give yourself more room to work?

Honestly, it didn't really feel like they were in my way that bad, but taking the seats out is so quick and easy. If you're larger than I am, I could see it being really worth it.

I just got a glass zippered window and I'm going t try to replace just that part. my question to you is does the window hit the rear stiffening brace when you unzip it?
@HardwayLearning5 жыл бұрын
My new glass top doesn't have a zipper so I couldn't tell you, but the old vinyl window rested just behind the brace when the top was up and the window zipper open

Great question, I believe you have to wire it in. Since I don't use this car in the winter I haven't gotten around to this yet. Wish I could help!
@michaelthomas78985 жыл бұрын
There's a plug on the drivers side by the seat belt tower. However there is other parts you need depending on the year of the vehicle.
@jacksomb15 жыл бұрын
@@michaelthomas7898 I upgraded my NA when I acquired a hard top. I needed the switch on the dash, the fuse holder and the relay, both go in the boot (trunk). The wiring was already there. I have just noticed that the connector on the NA and NB is different, but that's not a real show stopper...

Yes it closes fine and it actually seals better than the original top. The glass windows won't crack in cold weather vinyl is probably wreath equal odds though

Hardway Learning oh alright! I bought a red soft top with heated glass so I’m hoping the glass doesn’t break from me closing , because obviously they’re manual in Miata’s
