If it wasn't for Grayson Allen, J.P. Macura from Xavier would've been the most hated player in college basketball from 2014-18... he was just the ultimate antagonist on the court, but he's actually a really cool dude off the court

This video could be 45 minutes long just on Duke. 1. Laettner - the dirtiest player in CBB history, loved to scratch and elbow. 2. Redick - wasn't just the occasional head bob or wave. He did it the entire game. 3. Allen - someone needed to just kick him in the nuts 4. Wojokowski - the stupid floor slapping thing 5. Gerald Elbow Henderson 6. Bobby Hurley - just over the top stupid intense 7. Battier - flop and flop some more 8. Cherokee Parks - a less skilled oaf after Laettner 9. Dahntay Jones - played with his balls a lot 10. Scheyer Dishonorable mention: Horvath, Shav Randolph, Maggette That's just off the top of my head. Don't forget their wonderful coach quitting on the team one season in the 90s because they stunk and he didn't want to tarnish his win percentage. How a classy guy like Grant Hill ended up there is a head scratcher.

LMFAO This DUKE breakdown is awesome, but you forgot arrogant Danny Ferry who was a senior when Laettner was a freshman and I'm quite sure bullied and taught him the villain ropes. I loved Hurley but you have a point, I think Woj got the excessive floor slapping from him. Also look up Brian Davis who was a starter on the Laettner, Hill, Hurley teams. Omg his body language alone. It's like watching Carlton from Fresh Prince of Bel Air if he was taller, arrogant and not likeable, lol. And yes shout out to Grant Hill, class personified. To me the GOAT Duke player. Laettner was a winner but his championships didn't come until Hill was on the team.

You gotta be a specific age to remember Ron Slay at the University of Tennessee. As a UK fan that guy is the most remembered in my mind. Sure everyone was butthurt over Laettner and Duke in 1992. But UK got payback in 1998. Ron Slay was a guy we had to see at least twice a year for three years. When most players stayed at the same school for 4-5 seasons.

Laettner isn’t hated merely because he was good and played for Duke. In his autobiography, HOF coach Jim Calhoun singled out Laettner as “the dirtiest player I’ve coached against in my career.” In the entire book, Calhoun criticizes no other opponent by name other than Laettner. Btw, the infamous 30 for 30 “I hate Christian Laettner” episode includes several sort of neutral comments from Calhoun-but it omits the damning one from his book. I need no other proof to see that episode as bullshit pro-Laettner propaganda. How could you leave that out?

I'm a Duke fan, dude stepped up big in the tournament during his freshman year when Duke won a championship. He's a great player, and I love Allen. @@hardwood_yt I agree the Caruso play was bad, and he should have been suspended for a shitload longer than one game. I'll defend Grayson Allen's second tripping incident, against FSU. It was the last few seconds of a game where the outcome was determined, and the FSU player was still playing aggressive, physical, off-ball defense against Grayson at midcourt. Grayson retaliated. Ernie Grunfeld. At the risk of it appearing that I have been around for more than the last few years, I will point out this Tennessee player from 1973 to '77. He was arrogance personified. Grunfeld twice during a 1976 game at fierce rival Kentucky sneaked to the free throw line to shoot FTs when another player was supposed to shoot them. He apparently just wanted to see if a player could fool the refs, the announcer and visiting fans by pulling such a con. And he got away with it both times. Sports Illustrated put Grunfeld and Bernard King on their cover by the headline "Double Trouble at Tennessee." When Tennessee was knocked out of the tournament the next season, ending Grunfeld's career, Kentucky fans were jubilant. The fact that Grunfeld, despite being 6-6 and 240 pounds and a prolific scorer at Tennessee, never amounted to anything in the NBA was also pleasing to his critics. The SI story touted him and King as a force to enable Tennessee to replace Kentucky as the new power in the SEC. But in the '77-78 season, Kentucky won the NCAA championship, Tennessee went dormant, and Grunfeld was largely forgotten.

Grayson may have been an incredibly dirty player in the past, but he’s turned into a great presence for the bucks. The foul on AC didn’t seem to be intentional, and the time where he “elbowed” Demar was when he got tripped up by Ayo Dosunmu. May just be saying this as a bucks fan but he’s been a great role player and person in general for the time he’s been on this team

4:19 why did you show a graphic saying steph curry attempted 3.8 threes per game? He averaged 9+ in college and nba. Never has he attempted 3.8. That is how many he makes per game...

Morrison is disliked because he stinks. Like literally stinks. He hates showers, to the point that Gerald Wallace had to physically put him in a shower in the bobcats lockeroom.

If you hit another player, and I don't care what excuse you use, then you need to be suspended from playing for AT LEAST 1 Full Season. Now, if you hit another player while you are in the "Handshake line", then you need to be suspended for ever! No excuse for that! You are DONE playing.
