I have lost soo many friends and family members that I decided a long time ago I would rather celebrate their lives and who they were than just wallow is my grief which is selfish. This is out to my little brother and my fellow soldiers! They lived a great life are definitely in a better place. Love your reactions. God bless!

Hardy was originally a song writer. He’s written so many songs for different artists that people don’t even know he wrote. He’s finally gone off and started music himself and he is amazing!! Mockingbird and the crow is a song about him going from a song writer to an artist himself💯

Sounds like your friend Damien followed that line from the song "you had a wild side but you had amazing grace". That's really cool.

One thing this song makes me think of. God wants you to be you. He made you. He made you an individual different from everyone else special in your own ways. And He wants you to give him the glory, but you to be you while you're doing it. Or He wouldn't have made you that way. So even in the great Kingdom... I think you're still going to be you. I think that's the way He wants it. And I think that's what the song is all about.

I saw hardy at the west virginia state fair and he said you won't hear this song on the radio cause it's controversial. Apparently "giving heaven some hell" isn't welcome on public radio.

I actually heard it on the radio in the most perfect moment was on the way to go do a celebration some friends that had passed away on their one year of being gone

This was played at my dads funeral

I insisted it was played at my dads celebration of life...held at a biker bar...he touched 100s of lives...and to see 300 bikers sobbing when this was played after I read my letter to him actually made me feel better...to see how many lives he touched...he was 80..and still rode daily...never drank or smoked, but was the "cool guy" ...and I still shed a tear or two when I hear this...hes on a new road king since his is here at our house now...doing burnouts on the streets of gold...and Jesus is having a blast watching him have fun...

As much as I like Wait in the Truck. I'm looking forward to the return of soul and sincerity in music. This cardboard cut out copy and paste the industry is doing to music because they think that what young people want.....is DEAD. All everyone has ever wanted in music, any kind of music.....IS THE TRUTH.....not from lyrics, but from the passion in the music and vocals. Something that speaks to their souls, like the classic blues, soul and country songs did. Songs that speak to life, dealing with life, things in life, the reality of life where ever it is. Write songs from Experience...life, love, hurt, friendship etc. Don't Carbon copy a style because it sells. And Artist when you sign.....DON'T COMPROMISE YOUR SOUL AND SINCERITY IN YOUR MUSIC....just to make some money. TO THY OWN SELF BE TRUE!
