Never been out on a boat or anything like that, must be great fun to do mate! Yeah im quite shocked thats ive rarely seen pike there of say below 8lb yet 10lb plus is pretty common, its odd. I mean ive had um between 2lb and 5lb there over the years but just not as many as perhaps i should and maybe even would prefer seeing.. Funny enough or not so funny really i guess, ive been unable to fish for a few months due to being ill, i to hope to get sorted asap especially now its warming up!

Well ive actually also had a 54lb carp which is shown on my profile image but it was total luck, besides it was also from france and so doesnt really count lol. Thanks mate, Most large pike ive caught av all been from a narrow tatty dyke by a farmers field. Found it about 15 odd years ago when i roamed about fishing anywhere that was free regardless of how cack it looked lol. Ive had a huge number of pike from it now & a couple of special ones. Its got tons n i mean tons of small roach etc.

lol i wish id thought of gudgen now. On a serious note seen as u mentioned gudgeon, ive had some of my best pike using one small gudgeon as bait and although not my pb pike ive had my second best pike which i caught using gudgeon and weighed 31 lb 8 oz (the pike was 31lb 8oz i mean and not the gudgeon i used for bait, before u say it lol)
