The title says it all. Around here wait in the truck means, I'm fixing to go sort this out and you shouldn't be involved. This guy knew he was going to be trading his freedom for hers and did it with no regret. He's even saying it was worth the price to see her in a better place.

Glad you're back. Agree with you and everyone else here. There's no way he should have went to jail for that. Also as that beautiful baby's mother your love and guidance can have a profound effect on him. Yes the father should teach him to be a good man but just the love he gets from you will make him want to protect all women.

It seems like this man had nothing left to lose but his truck. My grandmother taught me how to use a cast-iron skillet. My mother said not to look for a man to protect me, but learn to protect myself. Joining the Navy helped a lot. 😊

My girl Sushi. It’s been a long time and I am just now getting caught back up. So first and most importantly let me say congrats on the baby. Truly a blessing in all of life. The baby is absolutely beautiful. Secondly your view on this video is amazing. I have watched other reactors on this video and your breakdown was the best. I agree with you. It starts with positive home training. Military is a good idea. I myself spent 22 years in. However keep in mind there are jerks there too. It starts with good home training. Lastly I have a request if you get to it. I would love to see your breakdown to this. The band is called One Less Reason. The official video is called Uneasy. Thank you girl for what you do. Can’t wait for the next one

As a 42 yr old American Veteran who served Over 6 yrs USAF Security Forces (3PO51) and who just celebrated my 18th Anniversary with my 1st and only wife I couldn't agree more. I think every male age 18 should give their country 2 yrs. Its very little to ask for all the liberties they enjoy that alot of good men died for. Most young men these days are way too soft. Cant even put in a good hard days work. Its ridiculous. Smh.

In this video it's clear what she had been going through. Not so much with him. Why was he turned around at midnight in a town he'd never been to? I believe everything happens for a reason! He was lost and comes across a woman who clearly needs a hero! I've watched a few reactions where the reactor has clearly never been in a DV situation because their comments of "he should have called the police"! Everyone knows the police and/or the law doesn't do jack sh** until it's a murder case! I lived that life and learned really quick that the ass whooping that came AFTER the police left was so much worse! I had been isolated from friends and family for so long and felt so alone and prayed for someone like this dude to come along! I'm extremely biased whether he was right or wrong in his actions! Sometimes doing 'your' right thing (everyone's is different) and obeying the law are two completely different things!

Any man that would do such things to ANY woman deserves exactly what that truck driver administered in the way of instant justice for that unfortunate young lady. And he did so while knowing full well what the consequences would be for himself. That is what any man who is worth his salt, should be willing to do for any woman even if he doesn't know her. And I agree with you SUSHI military training is usually a big plus in teaching young men responsibility and how to act as responsible, compassionate human beings.

I grew up in the never hit a woman mentality. My ex was horrible to me and I never struck her. I do agree that men have to be raised to be men, when sadly it seems to be so demonized on the current society. I know way to many males who don't seem to have moved much past toddler themselves. I have watched this video probably well over 50 times and it makes me emotional every time. I have lost friendships and gotten in trouble before for defending a woman. I know not all women are innocent and I know many women can get very violent. My ex cracked my ribs more times than I want to remember, but I know that I was far stronger than her and I know my temper, it was a much better idea to take the abuse and try to repair the issue later, sadly the solution was getting her out of my life. Now I have an amazing wife that means the world for me.

To add to the other comments... he was not a bad man, he was not an evil man... perhaps he grew up in a house of abuse.... as he knew what had happened to her without asking... he was a man who saw a need, saw an evil and acted on that need and evil. He was a man of faith (evidenced by the court scene bridge (Oh Lord have mercy on me was not asked to the court system... it was a plea to God) and visibly evidenced by the cross hanging on his rear view mirror... was his action legal, obviously not based on the trial, was it morally just.... that is up to each individual for you cannot legislate morality... but for every victim of DV, he would be an answered prayer... and for every man... the story forces the question... "what would I do?" I recently picked up on another aspect of the acting...you can see the transfer of 'weight' from the weight on her as a DV victim... to him, as the reality of what he did sank in looking at the body on the floor... she has her weight lifted as she no longer has to live that life... and the weight of the decision he made settles onto his shoulders, heart and mind.

There are bad guys in the world and it's fair to call them that. The question is why do girls walk past the good guys to get to the bad guys? I think it's because women are looking for men who would be heroes and the traits of the hero and the traits of the villains are the same. How the traits are used is the difference

does it really matter what the womans part was? theres 0 excuse to hit a woman hell i punched an old man for the way he was speaking to his daughter then he got all big and bad took a swing at me and my dad knocked him out. for context it was the day i met my ex i was 16 she was 15 and her dad was drunk and not letting her out of the car he was driving. it was funny me and my dad were standing across from each other could hear her dads slurred speech and just he way he was talking to her me and my dad locked eyes he nodded and it went from there her dad was charged with dui assult and abduction of a person under 16 years of age. i learned to be the one to step in when i see an issue because i watched my dad stop the car in the middle of the street to go after a guy that mugged an old lady and took off with her purse

I hate how we are glorifying this. He met a random girl in the middle of the night, in the street, in the rain. He didnt "load her down with questions" and told her to "wait in the truck" so she couldn't even positively ID him (hope he didnt invite a buddy over and was in the bathroom)....song would make more sense if he knew her. Now lets transfer this to 2023. Trevor Bauer (pitcher for the dodgers) was accused of DV and the girl was black and blue. 2 years in the court system later and its revealed that she was after his money and did it to herself. Just imagine if Hardy ran into her on the side of the road, an innocent man would be dead....you cant believe women just to believe them...if he saw it happen or if he had a relationship with the girl where he could actually trust her word, the song would be better
