I would say that the main two features of being Chassidic are 1) Yes, the reliance on attachment to a Rebbe, but also 2) a mystical, esoteric, and more emotional approach to Judaism as opposed the more complete focus on scholarship and strict observance of other Charedi Jews, particularly other Ashenazi Jews. Sephardic Jews include more mystical elements, and the Chassidic include some Sephardi aspects in prayers and customs that other Askenazi Jews do not.

As a hasidic (Chassidish)woman, this is not a full explanation but I'll take it. I see chassidim more a subset in the charedi community; more than different. Technically, I would find more commonality with you than the MO ( Modern Orthodox) community.
@Crystal11Skulls Жыл бұрын
How would you describe the difference between Haredi and Hasidics?
@brucheweinberger6863 Жыл бұрын
@@Crystal11Skulls Chassidim are a distinct subculture within the haredi community that is closely tied to strict societal norms that is has been handed down for generations and led by a Rabbi. Some things don't actually really make sense, at least for me, like the very specific color of hoisery that women wear to things that do make sense for me; if you need a device(smartphone, tablet) for business, there has to be a very strong filter.
@Crystal11Skulls Жыл бұрын
@@brucheweinberger6863 So you would say the difference between the two is that Chasidics have additional community guidelines that they follow, on top of Haredi norms?
@brucheweinberger6863 Жыл бұрын
@@Crystal11Skulls Yes but no. Different but not quite disimilair. Perhaps with more "rules." My daughter attended a haredi school for the first couple of years of schooling and she didn't feel any different than the other girls in the school. For various reasons, we switched her over to a Modern Orthodox Jewish school, and she stood out like a sore thumb. She loved that school and everyone loved her back but she was very different of the student population because of the haredi cultural difference; not necessarily Hassidic

sweet sister please consider this: when I stand before HaSHEM "Billy Graham told me so, the pope told me so, the rabbi told me so " will not cut it. We will each be accountable for what we believe and why. I propose this position, that HaSHEM's Word be the ONLY guide: Tehillim 19: " The torah of Hashem is temimah (perfect), reviving the nefesh; the edut of Hashem is ne’emanah (sure), making wise the simple." How do you feel about marrying a Muslim man?
@phoneman-xs3ft3 ай бұрын
It is strictly forbidden by Tara to marry a man or a woman who is not Jewish. This is because it is strongly valued to hold Jewish customs throughout the generations and is absolutely forbidden to marry someone who is not Jewish for exactly this reason. This applies to both men and women. Because guess what? Judaism, regardless of observance, always believes in gender equality and does not see women as objects to collect like Islam does.

Probably she means the most respected, Most strict sect of jewdaism. This is because there are still even stricter sects that are objected by most rabbitical authorities. Also, unlike other religions, the point isn't to make women unstylish. The point is women to not be. I'm dignified and that's why we practice modesty. The definition of modesty does not mean making yourself unattractive. It means not showing as much as the modern world does today. I'm guessing because most people here in the comments section. Come from a background where the religious reason for modesty is so men can control themselves. In Judaism, both men and women are obligated to modesty. But it's just more for women. Because, for some reason, Western culture has decided that it's somehow liberating to give in to the whims of creepy middle-aged men by walking around barely wearing anything. They think it's. Freedom and they've been told it's autonomy, but really it seems like it's feeding into the fantasies of creepy old men and the idea is that injudiesing.We believe the body is sacred and should be covered at all times but you can still look good and be covered too

WHY DON'T YOU BELIEVE IN OR FOLLOW THE BIBLE???
@user-bx3hz6wl5m3 ай бұрын
Haredi Jews are Orthodox jews and the Hasidic Jews are a subset of the Haredi. My father's parents came from and were raised as Hasidic Jews. They did not raise my father as Hasidic. My father had a large family and knew all of his grandparents,aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. He thought till the day he died that Orthodox jews in general were weird and nuts and I have known many in my own life and I must concur with his opinion. The only real difference between Orthodox Jews and Fundamentalist Muslims is that because Islam is a missionary religion they turn their violence and craziness outward onto other peoples. The Orthodox Jews aren't interested in anyone who isn't also an Orthodox Jew so they turn their craziness inward.

His ultimative wisdom is in the Quran. there is no higher wisdom than that of Allah. so embrace Islam of Quran if you want really be right guided instead of misguided by people as following people, rabbis, imams,... without using the mind and saying "Amin" to everything they is idolatry as you than would have made these persons unfailing idols in your heart. But Allah wants you to be critial and selfaware and wants that you use your minds. The Quran is there as guidance for life and help your minds to give you more rationality through higher fear for Allah, higher iman and higher selfawareness in your hearts

Actually the Bible came first, the Holy Scriptures then came the Habrit Hachadashah, the New Testament, when G-d said behold I will make a New Covenant with the House of Israel. After the last Book, G-d himself said that the Books are now closed, anyone who adds or takes away from it will be cursed. Now 600 years later Muhammad comes along saying he got a new revelation but he was not sure if it was from God or the Devil, his wife convinced him that it was from God. We all know what the Jews thought about him as a prophet and what he ended up doing to most of them starting in Yathrib and the rest of Arabia. Don't be blinded read every book be open and God will speak to you. My sheep hear My voice come to Him while you can and stop being a religious hypocrite.
