To be honest, I have low expectation to hear people trying out to sing this song, let alone adapt it to other language. But when I listen to the first part it is really good, I thought it was the original lyric until I read the subtitle. This is amazing, I'm glad I found this channel

I actually appreciate a cover that takes a song and makes both the lyrics and sound fit a different cultural vibe or even a completely different musical genre, because when done well, it creates more beauty to be shared with the world. Also, I know how hard it is to get lyrics in one language to make sense in another *and* rhyme, and I've seen it done well and done poorly. Also also, some of the best covers of songs I've heard are notably different from the original version. Someday I'll get back to making O Furtuna fit into English... Latin cheats lol.

The chinese lyrics hold a deeper meaning and the rhyming and the wording is a bit more melodic and tidy but seeing a japanese version is rlly refreshing!! not to mention the beijing opera voice is still retained

you can't expect other language adaptions to be as deep or meaningful as the real one since they have to alter many words to fit the story and match the rythm so overall i'd say its perfect.

@@antares_m20 The real one is supposed to be a beijing opera style song, with lyrics written in an ancient text style. However, multilanguage adaptations only used the 戏腔 (opera voice) and had somewhat normal lyrics, which is expected, but I'd say that this Japanese cover might be even cooler than it already is in an ancient text format, since the Japanese also have ancient texts.

well when a word in chinese can represent several and a deep meaning, u have change to into japanese word which has several more verses to match the rhyme. So i can say she do a very good job already.

It was fantastic! The powerful voice and constant tone remembers a lot of some older japanese singers from around 1950~60. Which gives me a feeling of nostalgia because my grandmother listens to that kind of music a lot when I was younger.

When people say "That left me speechless!" I always took it with a grain of salt, how could you not at least hum along or sing a few tunes with the song you're listening to? But when you started singing, I couldn't even *think* about saying anything! I was entranced in the top most definition possible. It took me a while to even realize this was a Japanese cover because the tones and the vocal control was just too beautiful for me to take in any other bit of detail for the first few seconds. It felt like i was breathing silk for air just listening to your voice blend effortlessly within the instruments of the music. I now must subscribe and listen to more of your works, after i take a moment to calm my full heart.

Not a chinese nor japanese, just a normal weeb for 10 years and honestly I’m so impressed with the translation!!!! It much more well done than i expected!!! It kinda remind me japanese folk tale songs, but i think it’s a great an adoption of culture!! Your voice is also amazing❤
