Hares Ear Rubber Leg - New Video Nov 2019

A new version of an old video featuring one of my all time favourite river point flies. The Hares Ear Rubber Leg Nymph. Originally given to me by Simon Cocker (Twice River Champion in Scotland) it is always first port of call for my point fly in a nymph setup.

Materials Required : -
Hook: - Veniard Size 16-10 Jig Hook Barbless
Bead: - Slotted Tungsten Size 2.3mm-4.6mm depends on hook size
Thread:- Uni-Thread 8/0 Fire Orange
Rib: - uni Soft Wire Copper Small Size #33
Legs: - Veniard Centipede Micro Legs Olive or Brown
Body: - Fox Squirrel or Hare's Ear or Similar
