When Mr. Bandaranayake was assassinated for political reasons, she gained sympathy as his widow became the Prime minister. As well as Mrs. Chandrika Bandaranayake Kumarathunga, daughter of Mrs. Bandaranayake, widow of Mr. Vijayakumarathunga murdered for political reason who was a politician and popular actor. But Dr. Harini got her academic qualifications and honored as the Prime Minister based on her individual talent and her contributions to the party. Congratulations Dr. Harini hon. PM of Srilanka.

Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the 1960s. Current President is a female. President from 2004 to 2014 was also a female. India also happens to be the only country on the entire planet - that’s right no country has done it until now - whose Presidents/Prime Ministers have many times happen to be of a religion different than the majority (Hindu). That should explain a lot about India ❤ Indian is the most secular country on the planet & a country values merit & doesn’t care about religion
