Muslims in the middle east don't easily get involved for the Muslims in India. Muslims in India are handling their affairs independently. That's how it should be... Take for instance the present war in the middle east...the Arab countries are trying their best to find solutions diplomatically.. India didn't do that. India, (like how the USA is in the middle east war) was complicit, openly supporting a resisting young group, training them and eventually washing their hands off when they were threatened by that same group. What a lot of damage the Indians burdened us with economically and geo-politically. That's when we lost our trust in India and had to take refuge in the Chinese support both economically and geo-graphically. Otherwise we had a very GRAND and truthful relationship extending 1000's of years. Sad but the truth.

They shot and burnt jvp's leader, who was a presidential candidate alive! Ranil's government is to blame for violating human Rights.. if the international human Rights paid any attention to jvp ,when they came in front of the law against premadasa and ranil banned their new political party illegally, no riots would be started .. only thing he good at is playing political games and hanging on the power surprisingly without getting any votes !

I am writing this after hearing the election results, and like everyone here am very happy with the results. I would also like to congratulate AKD and the team on the historic success. I have heard the Tamil version of his inaugural address to the nation through several news channels (though I am fluent in spoken Sinhala, but not in literary Sinhala). Particularly, I am glad to learn AKD has announced a few of the austerity measures already (for a start). I have also learned that under AKD's administration Sri Lanka would like to have maintain cordial relations with all its neighbours, thus putting everyone's doubts at rest. I am sure under AKD's guidance Sri Lanka will pull out and steer clear of the eonomic crisis that the country has been in since 2019. Congratulations once again!

Alternatively, you can open an account in your own name at a bank in Sri Lanka and send the money directly to that account. When you are visiting Sri Lanka you can use that money for your own expenses. This would provide immense relief to a country suffering from a desperate shortage of foreign exchange. If you are unable to open an account from abroad, please seek guidance from someone who knows the process and open one. This is the time Sri Lanka needs foreign exchange the most.
