Congrats to Dr.HARINI - her articulate response is a reflection of the first truly educated PM, with no baggage and evident impartiality in her vision. Yes, they may not have the experience but she has the KNOWLEDGE which is the first step. I sincerely hope that we irradicate the bureaucracy especially to get passports and visas as a first step, listen all those skilled people who are willing to comeback and rise those with true skills & integrity - and give them the responsibility to do their job properly! We were once known for our honesty, integrity, hospitality AND intelligence due to our COMMITMENT to EDUCATION and our culture, until uneducated people in parliament fighting with thuggery for the whole world to see came into power. Listening to this interview reminded me of the incident with Mrs. Upeksha Swarnamali and Dilka. If I recall correctly, Dilka had asked Swarnamali about her views on the 13th Amendment, and she had no idea what it was. Embarrassed, she admitted to not knowing. Now, look at how well this doctor is answering and articulating her political stance to the public. She’s thoroughly knowledgeable about the subject she came to discuss. Shouldn’t we be electing individuals like her, people who are well-versed in their fields, for key political positions in our country, regardless of gender?
