yes, there is hate... pain... suffering... ego... violence... and a lot of bad things in the world, but there is also peace, love, wisdom, control, compassion, forgiveness and a lot of good things in this world, I feel how bansuri music kills al the bad things in me and in a certain way it also kills the bad things out there... Bansuri makes the good things come to life, if you feel bad, then listen this music because the sound of this flute tells "i know, it hurts but look, here is God".

Totally agree with 'Victor Crown's" comment up there. We don't need the United Nations at all. We need this music and all the peace and comfort it brings. Like "The Enlightened" have been saying for thousands of years, the world will become peaceful only when each individual person learns to become peaceful. We all know it. And I think without a doubt that music will be the medium to fulfill what some call God's divine will for Peace on Earth. Love this raag also. Namaste

Shivanjali is a very serene melody with the touch of coolness of a moon lit night. Shivanjali is a combination of two raags- Malkaunsh and Jog Kaunsh. It will be more appropriate to call it a late night melody ( ratri ka aakhari prahar ) and i think it will be fitness of things if the the back drop is changed from a golden glow of a dawn on a mountain peak to a silver shine of a full moon on lake water. Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia ji has brought out the inner beauty of this raag in all its splendor and i therefore suggest this raag Shivanjali needs to be heard by all music lovers again and again.
