Beautiful. My morning starts with this as i sit in my balcony with my morning cup of tea, the smell of incense sticks. It reminds me our house near the Ganges in calcutta. My mother after taking her shower, used to water the tulsi plant in our aangan, light diya and agarbatti. The towel still tied in het hair. The smell of the clay oven in the morning and our cook is busy making tea and loochi torkari for breakfast. I used to sit with my grandmom by the side of the river and watch the boat slowly sail by. All these memories rush into my mind as i sit in my balcony in Vancouver and listen to raag bhairavi..as i quitely sip my tea away.

I salute the soul of the unknown 18th century musical genius who created this raga by mixing two traditional ragas Bhairav and Kafi. Later on, some other varieties of Bhairav were also created, but Ahir Bhairav has gone miles ahead of all of them as well as original Bhairav in popularity. Bhairav is an extremely serious raga more suited for devotional purposes, but Ahir Bhairav's nature is more secular with a gentle pathos and sweetness, which this performance captures fully.

Music is good when it arouses an emotion or a mood within you. it's not necessarily about being melodic or overtly musical, but about carrying the listener somewhere where he was not before. In this case, I feel like sitting on a park bench by a warm evening. the wind gently caresses my face, and everything is silent except for the nature around me. It is interesting that I mention that it evokes the silence when I speak of this kind of music.

Beautiful music. Makes me heartsick for India again. And the images are beautiful. There are two thousand years of history in this piece. The landscapes of the country traverse through the heart. Tigers in valleys and chitals in the glades. Gawalas on village roads carrying early morning milk to people. Buffalos and cows. Wah Madhusudan.

True...there is something of deeply soulful about India, our music and landscapes that cannot be found anywhere in the world. Yes the younger generations are hypnotized by Western culture vand materialistic restlessness, but for those who seek the true beauty of India, she is a generous and loving mother; she gives unconditionally. Seek with an open heart and look beyond the surface. India is eternally beautiful.

for permanently healing migraine do these things. 1> Join yoga class and practice for lifetime as you get time. specially do bhramari pranayam. 2> Do OM humming deep and long, you should feel vibration in your mind and body. 3> Cut electrical and electronic devices from your life as much as you can. 4> Cut Television (TV) from you life. 5> Visit places where there is no one around. LIke jungles, or dense parks etc. remember there should be no human sound. then just sit for hours and close eyes and meditate. or listen to jungle sound. 6> take ayurvedic herbs treatment for migraine for atleast 6 months continously. 7> follow these for 6 months and your migraine will be gone permanently. 8> remember not to take stress. leave behind all which are giving you stress. stay away from them. 9> buy a flute, sitar, or any ancient musical instrument and learn and play music. don't play guitar etc. you can also do drumming. I had 10 years old migraine and I cured it in just 3 months by following these steps. Thanks and have a great day.

This is so mesmerizing, I am falling short of words, this master piece of work is taking an individual to the next level. It is all beyond meditation. A sincere bow down to the artist and it is our fortune that we get to hear this sort of music. Koti koti pranam madhusudan ji aapki ki kala shabd mein abhiwyakta karna chahe toh bhi nahi ho sakati ❤ lovely
