There's one reason that Joe's music will still be listened to when other guitarists are forgotten - he writes great tunes. Even his solos have great tunes.

I have been following Joe since early 2000's and I remember when he started to publish some videos made by ZZ, even a teaser of this project maybe? well I finally got a chance to watch this and I have to say... ZZ you are producing great quality material! keep it up!
Fantastic documentary. I saw Joe on his first worldwide “Surfing” tour in Honolulu. The Andrews Amphitheater at the University of Hawaii. Hardly anytime who he was, and I dragged a few friends with me. They still thank me to this day. Go Joe Go!!!

This is probably my favorite band Joe ever assembled. Marco and Bryan play like they share a brain, and Mike is a freaking genius playing keys and guitar simultaneously??.... thanks for uploading this.

who is the director of this documentary? he's a super colossal extremist! the video editing is not of this earth. watching this show makes me feel like i'm flying in a blue dream for real. a surfing with the alien kind of experience. but overall, Joe's music is indeed a strange beautiful music, he is the engine of creation.

Joe Satriani is the best of bests. He is not only the most complete guitarist, but also an amazing and unique music writer. Joe is a genius. Joe Satriani = Music’s Albert Einstein
@brucelombardo27 күн бұрын
I consider Joe more of a Nikolai Tesla version of a guitarist....Einstein stole too much to be original, where Joe began as an instructor, inspiring others to greatness before he stepped up into his amazing path.

Joe, Steve, The Aristocrats crew....OMG. How did this not popup in my feed earlier? That was great. Well worth the watch. Joe was always one of my heroes since I found him when I was 18. EVH, SRV, JS, SV, GG....in that order of discovery. Just my humble opinion but the electric guitar is one of the most, if not THE most expressive instruments ever invented. It's mind blowing to see the current crop of KZbinrs like Max Ostro, Matteo Mancuso and others and what they have achieved technically, but the flipside of that is the actual songwriting, and that will separate the men from the boys, so to speak. Write guitar music for music's sake, not for yourself or other players. Anything outside of that is just showing off, and we all know that guy.

Excelente documental. Emocionante hasta las lágrimas. Salud, Joe!!! 🥂

because the original claim was that it was some kind of "radio interference signal" being picked up by the studio's recording equipment and it ended up on the tape, so they thought it sounded cool and left it there... so that was a lie? or did they end up finding what the exact source of the audio was? was it a TV show?
