Please tell us how to ask good questions before or while contributing to any issue, what are the best practices while contributing to Open Source. Also it will be great if you make a video where you will choose an organisation (what is the whole process of choosing an organisation) on GSOC and show us all the steps and contribute to an issue and make PR i.e. I am talking about a full fledged guide to contribute to Open Source, especially GSOC.

Honestly there is no actual guide to tackle the challenges of a large codebase. In fact, in various startups they don't even maintain a pattern. The best thing you can do is to learn how to navigate through the code, to find what you want, and working on your tasks without getting intrigued by the vastness of the code. This only comes with practice

Specifically, on how a beginner should start by reading large codebases, understanding issues, and solving them. This would be really helpful for people who want to get into open source but don't know where or how to start. If you have the time, could you also consider starting a bootcamp that covers everything from the beginning to the end, including web 3 and contributions?
