Edit 12/21/24: It took them a few days, but Blizzard finally caved and allowed players to farm all of the gems on week 1. You can now get most of them by repeatedly killing the 3 summoned minibosses around the island, and a few more are purchsed off Taljori, the Tortollan sitting in the main camp.

With my current Gear of rings Heroic Seal of the Poisoned Pact and Heroic Writhing Ring Worm on my Ret Pally, the Ring is simming almost 20K under Seal and 14K under Ring Worm. Maybe with the "BIS" Gems and full upgrade it might be better than the Ring Worm, but right now, I just cannot justify using it.

Ring is currently trash with the gems we get this week. Get it, upgrade it, and pocket it. Edit: unless your rings are still like ilv 600 or something.

Correction, it will easy be better than a lot of the 619s I have simd it many times already. Although stats are low the passive damage and healing is good still for progression.

No, you can skip the entire thing and immediately unlock the ring and gems on an alt. All you need to do is complete the first quest to reach the island.

That is it bugged it will not let me put a gem on the ring so i am stuck so i am back to my old stuff. like it will not let me out the gem into a slot at all must.
