Beautiful overview. I saw this book in my LCS this morning and was stopped in my tracks at how beautiful the production value looked even in shrink wrap. Left the shop hoping you’d have a video or Instagram post about it to push me over the edge. Went back to my LCS after work and picked it up. Keep up the great work, man.

I have just finished reading this book and I absolutely loved it. The art work is incredible and the story is completely engaging. I think this is possibly the best version of Harley and particularly her origin that has been done to date. Her descent into insanity is slow, deliberate and heart breaking, yet completely believable. If you enjoy dark psychological horror stories, I can't recommend this highly enough.

Hence us readers can either order it online from sites like In Stock Trades / Cheap Graphic Novels or pick it up at the Local Comic Book Store the morning after.

You brought up a point about Harley that prevents me from getting into the character on a monthly basis, and that is the tone. I want a more serious Harley, not one which is "Looney Tunes" wacky, like I have also stated with friends in conversation. I remember watching your video on the different editions of The New Frontier by Darwyn Cooke, have you heard about his adaptations of the Parker crime novels? A reprint of the 'absolute' version of those books (called the Martini Edition) is coming out soon, and I feel like its a book of high enough quality to demand the attention that goes into your reviews. I think you should make a video comparing the many editions of Sandman: TPB, Deluxe, Omnibus, Absolute and Annotated Editions. The netflix and audible adaptations are attracting many non-comic readers to the series and many will probably be very confused on how to jump in.

Oh I love such designs where it stands out from the crowd!!! Just in case you weren't aware, the button oversized hardcover was also lenticular (i.e. not just the Batman/Flash floppies). You may have spawned an idea for a new video this year. What if we look at how books evolved from the 90s to current day. All the foils, holograms, etc gimmicks (which Im a sucker for) to well thought out designs in current day.

Nice video.That dust jacket (with the cover under) is really smart and beautifully executed. Sejic is a man??? I knew the name by Sunstone, but always thought a "she" by the contents. I could care less about BDSM, but was very impressed by the art especially the more realistic looking panels, and the presentation of the HC editions.

You got it. White Knight was moved to be under DC Black Label and was released a Direct Market Hardcover but its standard trim size (Last Knight on Earth will be the same). Sandman Universe is also under DC Black Label now but I haven't looked into what releases came out for those titles.

In Jersey if you order before 9am, you can get it same day... if the book is damaged, you can just schedule a replacement immediately and drop off the damaged book at your local Whole Foods.
