We should all laugh a lot more at each other and ourselves and then it doesn't matter what colour your friends are there just the same as you. It doesn't get much better than this show. , black or white so much respect and fondness for one another., love them all.

No, if they listened, they'd hear truth through his humor. Imo, a more brilliant humorist than Dick Gregory. Why, because everyone listened to him and tried to understand what he was making fun about.

I live back in those days believe it or not. I didn’t really care for that so much either keep in mind. I was a very young white kid. I was in high school my two best friends. One was a black kid not that I noticed the second was another good friend. He happened to be from Puerto Rico, no maybe back then that was a big thing before the three of us it wasn’t we were just friends. This was in 60s and what are we dealing with today? Bullshit people get your fucking heads together and see things through intelligence instead of through your ears.

That was a nice jab at Lucy from Nipsey. At @ Nipsey makes a point to remind the audience. That in all the years Lucy had her show on TV. Lucy never had a black person on the show! Lucy must of been a racist of some kind. But lots of white folks were naturally racist back in the day! If I recall my nursing courses. Penicillin was discovered thru moldy bread not cheese. Did Nipsey ever date, was he married, straight or gay?
@syphon_98925 жыл бұрын
Just because she didn't have an African American on her show doesn't mean she's racist. Her husband was cuban. You must harbor some really extreme views 😤

Dean Martin raises a good point about Nipsey being the "only" black comic without his own situation show. Nipsey Russell would have been fabulous in a sitcom. It's a shame that TV executives didn't have the foresight to cast him in such a role. Although some people are fond of calling Americans racist, the fact is that if you were talented enough in show business, you could get gigs, even some pretty impressive ones, regardless of your race. As a child (white) during the early 1960s, I recall the early appearances of Bill Cosby and Richard Pryor and audiences of all races and religions loved them.
