Jokes are made about the darkest of subjects, smoking, drinking, racism, cancer, death etc…humor is humor. It only ceases to be humor to those who get offended and take it seriously. I'd walk in in the middle of his act and the crowd would be roaring with laughter, But the things he was saying were not particularly funny or clever. He just had this magic knack to draw people into his train of thought word salad, he had a rhythm, and they'd just laugh. Fascinating phenomena to witness.

The best comedian of his day. He was a genius at the way he created his comedy. He paved the comedy world in my opinion best comic ever.

Don Rickles. Hilarious! He lived to age 90. Proof that laughter is the best medicine. Rest in peace.

Don Rickles Buddy Hackett and Foster Brooks in my opinion were some of the greatest comedians ever and of course my number one favorite Tim Conway and Carol Burnett on the female side all of those would have been great in a sketch all four of these comedians
